Joplin KOA

Beautiful CG. Clean. Good hosts. Gravel, level sites. Our site was a premium end site with lots of space. Some sites looked to be somewhat close. Easy to get around even with our big rig and toad. Great patio with bench swing, table and chairs. BBQ grill.

Nice , clean CG. Suggest a call to the office for directions, only because the entry could be missed. Coming off the freeway you will make a left turn BEFORE the KOA sign. The sigh is easy to see but I still almost missed the turn. It looks like you are driving into a business or junk yard. Despite me saying this the CG is easy off and on to the freeway. Sites are gravel and pretty level. They are very tight together. The hosts are great.

Easy off and on to freeway. Clean CG. Not crowded at all. Rain all 7 days we were there but the grounds drained off the water pretty good. Good hosts. Easy process to check in. I think all the sites are pull-thru. Gravel and level. Sites would be somewhat close when CG is full. Easy to navigate around the CG with a big rig.

Nice smaller park. Very clean. Owner is a great host. Easy off and on to I-55. A number of longer term residents with well kept units. Small dog park, but lots of open grassy fields to walk your pets. Site M-4 handled our long (65') MH and toad. Gravel sites w/easy hookups. One caution....if you are long, don't pull into the park too far to the right as you most likely will need to make a right hand turn that can be tight. Other than that the park is easy to navigate.

Pretty easy to get to from the interstate. Mostly gravel sites with a number of cement sites. These cost more. Our concrete site was level. Not sure if all the gravel sites were as level. Only stayed one night. Will use CG again when in the area. An okay CG but nothing really special.

Decent location for our needs in Atlanta. Easy on-off to I-75 with a Pilot at the same exit. All gravel with fairly level sites with okay shade. The A sites are very close together. Our 42 ft MH pulling a toad was too long to stay hooked up and still get to the sewer hookup which used 30ft of hose. Office not open for much of the day. Opens at 2. Lady checking us in was rather rude and put out by customers. One other camper we spoke to had similar comments about the staff. Of all the CGs we have stayed at this was the most unfriendly of all. Too bad. Probably wont be back.

An excellent, clean, quiet CG. The hosts are great and really work hard to keep the CG clean and folks happy. Many repeat campers. All sites have a concrete pad, picnic table, and grill. Lots of shade at almost all sites. Satellite reception can be a challenge. There is no sewer hookup at sites, but the dump station, as you leave the CG, is good.

A no frills CG convenient to I-10. Pull-thru concrete pads with room for a 42 RV with tow. Great CG host and assistants. 10-15 min drive to the beaches. 20-30 min to the casinos. Will stop here again when in the area.

This is a really good campground. Plenty of variety in sites. Lots of pull-through sites. Most sites are large. Our site was large, level, and almost private. Pet friendly with lots and lots of dogs and everyone controlling them and picking up after them. Staff and other campers really friendly. An enjoyable campground to walk around with many trails. Close to the beach. Great beaches. New recreation center, pool, and tennis courts. Can't wait to get back!

As most of the reviews have stated, this is a great campground. Our site was on "the hill" above the beach. The site was great with lots of room between the other sites. The site was just slightly not level, but one board fixed that. The folks that operate this CG were friendly and always seemed to be working on "fix its" all around the park. Many of the sites between the "hill" and beach were showing some age. The beach sites were a bit close, but the folks staying there didn't seem to mind. Very Dog friendly and there were MANY dogs, including ours. We will be staying here again this winter.

This is really nice COE campground. Newly paved roads and camp sites. New concrete pads with new picnic table, grill, and table. The fire rings are large and set up up to be able to use for cooking if desired. The rest rooms are very clean and well maintained. Park area is right on the lake, but the beaches are closed due to new construction earlier this year. Overall a nice peaceful, clean campground.

Friendly staff. Clean park, but needs some TLC with the landscaping. Nice pool to swim in after a long day on the road. Sites were a bit close and I'm sure we woke up our neighbors when we left in the early morning. Will stay here again when in the area.

A good overnight park. Nice pool. Level sites and very close together. Clean. Friendly staff.

Nice overnight stop campground. Friendly staff and a clean campground with level sites. Had a problem hooking up the water hose as they had some kind of "tube" surrounding the water spigot. Minor issue.

Stayed here for four days to visit the Grand Canyon and other area attractions. This is a really good campground with friendly staff, nice grounds, and nice views. Internet connection was weak and at times non-existent. I think we had the best site with no other sites on our camper door side. Nice and private feeling. Site was not level and neither were most of the sites on the "hill." If in the area again we will surely use this KOA.
