Spring Creek RV Campground, Canmore, Alberta

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

First the positives. Great location near town center and view of the mountains nearby. Now the rest of the story. The campground is scheduled to be replaced with condos which are being constructed on adjacent property at present but more will be constructed on campground property within two years. Construction eqt. and deliveries use campground all day long to access work site which cause interior roads to be in bad condition and whole area to be dusty. The campground can really be described as a mobile home park with rv sites as there is a LARGE number of permanent residents but they are in the rear section of the facility. Speed limits need to be enforced. This could really be a nice park with proper maintenance and upkeep but you can see that the owners are not putting much money back into the park as it will soon be condos. We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Motorhome.

South Oaks Manufactured RV & Mobile Home Park, Palmetto, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

One word description: Dump! At one time this must have been a nice RV/mobile home park but not in the last 20 years. Many worker RVs and mobile homes with a number of them empty so I guess they are rentals. Adjacent to busy I-85 so there is highway noise. Could not close the electric breaker box with exposed wires due to latch broken. Sewer connection is an open pipe. Water faucet barely sticks out of the ground. Should have gone with my first inclination and left before registering. Discovered ants all over the front of RV the next morning. Did have a fairly level concrete pad to park on. Would not stay here again. We camped at South Oaks Manufactured RV & Mobile Home Park in a Motorhome.

Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines), Lake City, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

The rate reflects the Passport discount. This is a very clean and well kept park. The staff were friendly and helpful with an escort to the site. If traveling I-10, very convenient off/on and even though we were close to the interstate, the road noise did not bother us. We only stayed one night and I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Motorhome.

Onapa RV Park and Campground, Checotah, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Would not stay here again. In addition to all of the negative comments by other posters, we experienced high voltage at the site's electrical outlet. Thankful we had Progressive EMS that tripped and protected coach. Notified office and his only response was, sorry. Had to use generator rest of night. We camped at Onapa RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Lindenwood Park, Fargo, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a not so nice RV park in a exceptionally nice city park. The RV facilities leave a lot to be desired. We stayed in the B section by the river to get away from the road noise of I-94 which is adjacent to the upper or A section. We only had 30 amp service and we didn't even have that the last night as we experienced low voltage and could not run the A/C. Most of the sites in the B section are not very level and and narrow. As mentioned before, the dump station is not level and not convenient to use. We would not stay there again. We camped at Lindenwood Park in a Motorhome.
