Lakewood Camping Resort, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Stored our camper here, 2nd season we had it. That part is nice, convienient. This place is getting to be a dump and worst every time we come! I have been here several times already this year and the same things that were broken are still broken! Walked on the beach across from the play ground and I literally was scared we were going to step on some garbage that would send us to the hospital. What a dump the beach was! Pool deck was the same thing: food from the day before all over the place. Store restaurant was the same thing: full trash cans, trash on ground. Place is always full, so money should be no problem. Pay people to clean up the place, and be responsible for one area, all day! Fix the broken stuff, and clean the bath houses for God's sake! Disney is a great model to follow. We camped at Lakewood Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Myrtle Beach KOA, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Well, this is the first place we stayed after purchasing a camper. It was the only place I could find in Myrtle Beach to stay, We got only electric and water, no sewer. They stuck us in the "tent" section. Drunk mustang club or something, they all drove mustangs, which was cool. But loud all night, dropping the "F" bomb no matter who was around. We had to get the security guards every night to come quite them down after the "quite time" started. They said they were only a couple blocks from the beach! Ha, my eye! Anyway one and done! We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Travel Trailer.
