Klamath Falls KOA, Klamath Falls, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good Journey stop, but front entrance like others have said is very tight. You need to make a 180 degree from the right hand lane to get into park, with a 44 foot motorhome and tow, we were not able to make it and had to un-hook in the driveway. The main issue was they have a motorhome at the fuel pumps, if it was not there, we would have had enough room to make the turn. Rest of the park was good, VZW internet was OK, we got 4 MB down with .8 MB up. We camped at Klamath Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very nice park, best KOA I have stayed in. Well organized and not too tight. VZW data only had 1-2 bars and slow speed, wifi was not any faster.
We would stay here again. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Dumplin Valley RV, Kodak, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great find. We love going to the smaller parks as they are so personable, and this is no exception. The owner came out and met us and the sites are huge, its in a large grass field with full hook-ups. Water pressure very good, electric good. VZW mifi not great, we only had 1 bar, but that was same in Nashville too, so maybe just VZW. We wll be back here again.. We camped at Dumplin Valley RV in a Motorhome.

Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice campsite, we were in site 104 on the outer circle with a view into the forest, site was very level, and multiple sewer hook up for each site. Free good Wi-Fi, good 3G Verizon service, could not ask for more. Was so nice we extended our stay here. We camped at Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA in a Motorhome.

Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA), Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Staff said pull-through sites were 65 feet, but they were only 63 feet, so we had to unhook the toad for an overnight stay. Power was out in the row that they parked us in. When we told them they came and checked and said 2 rows were out and they would work on it. By morning it was still not working and heard nothing from maintenance man. The sewer hookup was a 2" connector stuck inside pedestal so could not screw on adapter fitting. I gave up on dumping. Very pricey for a parking lot campground. We saw ad at Circus Circus that rooms were only $28.00 for the night. Helicopter and siren noise almost all night long, was not much fun. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

Tucumcari KOA, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice spot to stop off the freeway. We had a long day of snow, called ahead and they said that we could get in here with no problems even thou it was snowing. We were greeted by owner and spent plenty of time to make us familiar with park, escorted to site and made sure all utilities were unburied from the snow. Power was good, Verizon internet was slow, Sprint was faster but not great. Would stay here again We camped at Tucumcari KOA in a Motorhome.

St. Louis RV Park, St. Louis, Missouri

I must agree with others, but how you get anything higher than a 2, I don't understand. This is a large asphalt parking lot with hook ups. Was tight to get into spot, with toad unhooked, and park people helping, we had to make a three point turn to get into site. They are not pet friendly at all, they is no grass in the park except two little patches and they are not for pets. You have to walk you dog across the scorching hot asphalt outside the park to do their business and the office makes sure to tell you, no where in the park are pets to do their business. The park does not have an entrance at the address on Jefferson Street, you have to drive around and get to 23rd street which is where the entrance is. The gal in the office was rude, but the gentleman that parked us was very nice and did have a lot of info on the local area. Lets talk about not being level, that is a understatement, the only way to be level is to jack up so high that your wheels would have to be off the ground and we won't do that, so we lived with being a bit off level. Came here to do some sight seeing and it was close in that regard, but since you cant sight see all day, you need a nice park to come home to relax. They don't have Wi-Fi here, but there is a pay per use service in the area. AT&T had poor Internet, but Verizon wireless and Sprint had good Internet here. Probably would not stay here again We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Motorhome.

R&D Family Campground, Milford, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice park in the woods, and the staff was the best. They will do whatever it takes to make you happy. We stayed at site 3 as site 15 was full, and it was right next to the pool. The pool was spotless and refreshing. We had poor Nextel and Sprint cell coverage, but AT&T and Verizon Wireless worked well. Verizon Wireless air card worked the best here, but our Sprint air card worked also. Lots of trees but the staff knows where to put you to get satellite TV and from site 3 we had satellite TV. We camped at R&D Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Billings KOA, Billings, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

We were in site M8, was a bit hard to back into due to small street, but not horrible. WI-FI signal was poor and kept kicking us off so it was un-usable. There is 3G Sprint service, 1XRTT for Verizon and no AT&T or Nextel service. Utilities all worked and they have a afternoon BBQ and breakfast in mornings, prices are reasonable. We camped at Billings KOA in a Motorhome.
