Blackwell Island RV Park, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here several times before and have always found the park well taken care of. It is a great place to stay when visiting beautiful Coeur d'Alene. This large quiet park is not far off I-90 and just off Hwy-95 and is close to all restaurants and tourist activities in the area. It is great for Big rigs with numerous large pull-thrus. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Blue Anchor RV Park, Osburn, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Management was very helpful, walking us to our site and assisting us in getting parked. Pull-through sites are end to end camp sites, so if there is already a rig in the site, it is not a pull-through. It requires you to back in. Luckily we did not have any other rigs in our site, as this park is very tight. Highway noise was not noticeable to us. We camped at Blue Anchor RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fairmont RV Park, Anaconda, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped here on our way to Yellowstone for 2 nights. Although we had made our reservations 6 months in advance we were placed out back by the tent campers in the remote part of the park, and in a back-in site when we had reserved a pull-thru (and paid for a pull-thru). The park in general was nice and well taken care of. While we were here the staff using a large front loader tractor started spreading gravel on the dirt roads on either side of our campsite. This work was very dusty and very noisy. The tents next to us did not respect the 10:00 pm quiet time rules and staff did not enforce the rules. We camped at Fairmont RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

We were extremely impressed the minute we walked into the main office. The office, staff and store were extremely clean. Park was organized and professional. Not the norm for most RV Parks we have stayed this vacation. The site was clean and well maintained, as was the entire park. The only reason we did not give it 10 of 10 was the TV cable was extremely snowy and barely viewable. For the $51+ a night we expected the TV Cable to be top notch. We had friends in the park, who have been going to this park for years, who stated the TV cable was the same way last year and that was why they went with a satellite system this year. The only thing the management needs to fix is the TV Cable and this park would be the best park we had ever stayed at. We were in the park over the 4th of July and watched the great fireworks show West Yellowstone put on. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
