Jamaica Beach RV Park, Galveston, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

The physical layout was great. Nice pool and bathhouse and manicured lawns. Nice place for kids with miniature golf and lots of eye candy. Excellent restrooms. The price was higher than most places, so I expected Wi-Fi to work. There was not even a signal. The sewer intake overflowed all over my hoses and cables, saturating them to the point that I had to dispose of some due to the smell that soaked into the rubber. Didn't get to go swimming at night, because owner locked up the pool. We camped at Jamaica Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Bayou Shores RV Resort, Galveston, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, but the place should actually HAVE WiFi like they claim. No signal could be detected. We've stayed here twice. Nice view of the bay. The restaurant next door (and owned by them) screwed up our food order multiple times on two visits. Fireworks visible on Friday nights from Moody Gardens. Wish I could score it higher than seven. :( We camped at Bayou Shores RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
