James Island County Park, Charleston, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This is our dog's FAVORITE RV park! She loves the large fenced play area with pond. The walking trail through the park is great. If interested, there are 2 climbing walls: one for children and one for more experienced climbers. We will definitely stay here if we come back to lovely Charleston! We camped at James Island County Park in a Motorhome.

Cross Creek RV Resort, Arcadia, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Park is very neat and clean, but could use more trees. There is a nice swimming pool and hot tub, but hot tub is small. Lots of activities and golfing in the area. Activity Hall needs to be larger. Good restaurants are quite a drive away - about an hour away. Cable TV has only about 12 channels, and they are not the quality ones. Wi-Fi costs $30 extra and is usable pretty much only between midnight and 6 am. (Good to bring your own TV and computer hookup.) Great place to learn French. We camped at Cross Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

North Beach Camp Resort, St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Good location for exploring St. Augustine. The beach is across the street, an easy walk. We could only use our computer in the office. A lot of the sites are shady and good sized. Bathrooms can use an update. Good restaurants in the area for seafood. Office people are very helpful and friendly. We would come back here again when visiting St. Augustine. We camped at North Beach Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park, Saint George Island, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Great park in a quiet natural area. Beach area is not far, and it is quite private: nice to see sunrises! Site are somewhat shady: a few are sandy. Park hosts spray often for mosquitoes, which helps. Park hosts are very informative and helpful. We camped at Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Quail Run RV Resort, Arizona City, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This park has friendly people, a nice pool and a hot tub! We had a dog, and there was not much room to walk the dog. Arizona City does not offer much: must go to Casa Grande to shop, eat out, and go to the very large dog park. We did not have a cell phone signal. (AT&T). We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Butterfield RV Resort & Observatory, Benson, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Although we had heard about the trains, we only heard them once: no trouble sleeping. People are friendly: my husband's favorite activity was the morning coffee and donuts! Has a nice pool and hot tub. The observatory is a nice bonus. We would stay here again. We camped at Butterfield RV Resort & Observatory in a Fifth Wheel.
