Creekside RV Park, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The park was very clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The park is pet friendly, which is great if you have pets. However, hearing dogs barking didn't rank high on my list for a relaxing weekend. The only other negative to mention is that some sites such as the one we stayed on (55) is very small. It would have been almost impossible to sit around a fire without catching someone's RV or vehicle on fire. We camped at Creekside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stone Mountain Park Campground, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, quiet campground in the woods. It is not a luxury park. The site we stayed on (305) was uneven, and we couldn't use our awning because of trees. It was shady so we didn't really need it anyway. They have doughnuts and coffee every morning as well as other activities. The bathhouse does not have AC. They do provide a shuttle to the attractions to the park, but we didn't use it. We enjoyed it, and will most like go again. We camped at Stone Mountain Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at Ocean Lakes several times over the past few years. It is one our favorite! The amenities are great, especially for kids. There are always activities going on to keep you busy. There is a restaurant, store, laundry mat, and entertainment galore; no need to leave the park. They hold a church service every Sunday. We attended and enjoyed it very much. The beach area was much more crowded this time than on previous visits. We camped at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Topsail Hill State Preserve, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this park! We enjoyed the landscaping with privacy from our neighbors. The ponds were great for fishing. There are wonderful places to walk or bike. Close to shopping and restaurants. Be prepared to walk a distance to the beach or be on time for the tram that runs every hour on the hour. Bring a wagon or cooler on wheels to take your stuff to the beach. No Wi-Fi, but we heard it is coming soon. We will definitely go back. We camped at Topsail Hill State Preserve in a Travel Trailer.

Charlotte / Fort Mill KOA, Fort Mill, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Nice facilities, especially for kids. The office is inside a gas station: weird. Our first site was not level so we moved to another one that was much better. Sites are not paved so when it rained, everything was a mess. Overall, a nice place to spend a few days while site seeing in Charlotte. We camped at Charlotte / Fort Mill KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We enjoyed our stay at American Heritage. Nice pool, laundry facilities, and basketball court. Staff was helpful and courteous. Sites are small, and roads are gravel. We camped at American Heritage RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
