We have a 37' Travel Trailer and a 22' truck, they booked us for a 40' space which required a lot of maneuvering to get in and out of due to tail swing and folks parking on the narrow streets. You must have spotters, best to have a couple. My main gripe is the narrow streets and the posts they have planted in the ground at every turn to prevent folks from rolling over the grass. One of these was hidden behind a large tree and therefor not at all necessary. It was low so as to be out of sight while we watched the tree, it caught the steps and blew a tire costing us over $1K to repair. I would avoid this park again for that reason alone as these posts are obviously hit often and merely costly accidents waiting to happen; if our damages are any example it is not worth it to stay here.

We like this campground more than any we have stayed in to date and will definitely go back. Julian is a picturesque area and an enjoyable place to visit but there is no night life, they roll up the streets in the evening. Entry is a bit touchy as it is a sharp turn in a sharp turn with a steep grade but once in the park the site was very nice. Our pets were welcome and we have no issues with full timers as we have at some locations.

This is the very first place we camped and we had a good experience, though the park is focused on desert ATV riders and model aircraft flying, neither of which we participate in. It is a desert site, enough said. Everyone was very friendly including the full timers, which we have often found in other locations to behave like they own the place and others are not welcome. Not so here. We probably will go back again to this campground mainly because it was so friendly and the sites were spacious.
