North Beach Camp Resort, St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

All of the sites are nestled in the mangroves. You cannot see the person next to you which is nice. Yes, it is sandy but by removing your shoes before entering your camper it is not a big deal. I did not encounter any mosquitoes although there are fire ants. Aunt Kate's restaurant has good food. Most all of the sites are wide and deep which make it manageable for the big rigs. St. Augustine Lighthouse and city center is only a few miles away. The bath houses were a little out dated, but clean. I camped here in a Class B and would return. We camped at North Beach Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

This State Park is huge! The roads are paved leading in. The bath houses are old and dated along with the washer & dryers. We stayed here one night as a stop over. Ample room for big rigs. We camped at Oak Mountain State Park in a Motorhome.

Davy Crockett Birthplace State Park, Limestone, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $20.00

The park is small and dated. I was told that they will be doing major improvements to their whole campground to include new bath houses this coming fall. Over all this is a nice campground with beautiful views of the river and close to the museum. I camped here in a Class B. We camped at Davy Crockett Birthplace State Park in a Motorhome.

Big Oaks Family Campground, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed one night. This is a small campground with tight maneuvering. Would not recommend for Big Rig's. Pool was clean, with a lifeguard on duty. Restrooms were clean and tidy. Campstore was small and did not have much to offer. Staff was pleasant. I would not stay here again due to the park's size and cost. We camped at Big Oaks Family Campground in a Motorhome.

American Heritage RV Park, Williamsburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for 1 night. A beautiful setting with lots of shade trees throughout. The bath house was totally refurbished with very nice upscale tile. Very clean. The campstore does not carry any perishables so if you need snacks/food you will have to stop at a grocery store. The slide was a little pricey but enjoyable. Pool was very clean and nice size. New level concrete slabs for pull through and back in. Free delivery of purchased wood to your campsite. Very pleasant staff. I will definitely be coming back for a longer stay. We camped at American Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

Elizabethtown / Hershey KOA, Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is very clean and nicely shaded. The staff is not personable and very strict. You feel as if the staff is watching your every move. Although it is a very clean campground, I would not be returning due to the unfriendliness and extra charges for guests, etc. We camped at Elizabethtown / Hershey KOA in a Motorhome.
