Friendly park and hosts. Sites all looked level. Very shady, and a bit overgrown. Nice place overall, adequate, but was not laid out for big rigs, roads were too tight and narrow. Campsites were spotted well, not to close together. Water pressure was good.

Wife & I stayed 4 days before Memorial Day, and the Park was terrific, clean, spacious, shady. I was well pleased with the campground and staff. Only about thirty sites offer sewer hook ups, but all have power & water, and space for tents at each RV site. Playgrounds for the kids were somewhat limited. All in all, one of the best campgrounds we've found. Reserve early though.

Very, very nice campground. Built by Corps of Army Engineers in conjunction with the Tennessee- Tom Bigbee Waterway Project, back in the late 80's I think. Spacious, well laid out, level concrete sites, good roads, ground kept up and very neat. I drove 7 hours to get to this campground and it was worth the drive. The campground honors National Access Pass, for 50% discount. Would definitely stay there again. Many of the premium sites are available for reservations, with the remaining first come basis. Has excellent boat launch facility with lots of local piers close to the camp sites. This was my first time there, and I was very impressed with the campground and stayed for nearly 4 days.

Very nice state campground. Nice paved roads, RV sites generally set wide apart, level and in good condition, many sites have partial shade, and many have view of lake. 18 & 9 hole quality golf courses at the CG. Garbage picked up every morning. Good hiking & biking trails. Stayed there in a 32' 5th wheel; will definitely go back.

We stayed at this CG overnight on the way back from picking up our new 5th wheeler in Tenn. We got in late in the evening and the Owners stayed open for us, led us to our site and guided me onto the spot. They were very helpful and friendly. The spot was leveled concrete, about 50-55 ft. long and wide enough for extended slides on each side if needed. There were 2 cushioned patio chairs and a small table at each of the spots we saw. Very clean and well kept up. We have stayed here twice now, and have not thought that highway noise was any issue to complain about, as someone else mentioned. In my opinion, this CG is not the family KOA, it's a great overnighter or few day stay to rest up. We like it, and do recommend it. We stayed in a 33' 5th wheeler.

Highly recommend this campground; it was very scenic and pleasant. Located on top of a mountain ridge, what a view. We were able to get one of their premium sites with a wonderful view of the valley between the campground and the mountain range looking to the Smoky Mountains. I would say this campground is better suited to couples than families. Not too much for the kids to do. Well keep up and and very clean. Has a very steep entry road to the campground. We like it so much, wife booked for next year too. This was our first visit.
