Rocky Top Campground, Blountville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We anticipated arriving by 6 pm, but hit a lot of traffic in Knoxville. Called and told them the situation and we probably would not arrive until 7:30-8:00. We arrived in the dark, were met by the owner and she led us to our site with a flash light. The site was close to the front and long enough for our 35' coach + 16' trailer. The owners also helped us hook up and told us that we could register once we were settled. To our surprise we were given a basket of goodies so we didn't have to cook as we had been on the road for 11 hours. They also have a fantastic dog enclosure so our 3 beagles could stretch they legs. The showers were very clean. We did not stay long enough to see the campgrounds but we would absolutely stay here again and again. We camped at Rocky Top Campground in a Motorhome.

Oak Plantation Campground, Charleston, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We were here for a week, not far from downtown Charleston. Interior road is paved, site is grassy with nice shade tree, but got dog satellite reception as well as TV. Large park and plenty of places to walk dog. Have a huge enclosed dog park which we liked as we could let our 3 beagles off their leases. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Restroom and showers are nice an very clean. We would stay here again. We camped at Oak Plantation Campground in a Motorhome.
