Highway 12 RV Park (Closed), Rogers, Arkansas

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very clean RV park that caters to long term and full time RVers. They have full hookups including 70+ channels of cable TV. There are no public restrooms or showers but there is a laundry room available for residents. We have stayed here for six months in 2010 and we are back for another six month stay. My wife is a travel nurse. Park is about five miles from downtown Rogers and just a couple of miles from Beaver Lake. Address is 15479 East Hwy 12, Rogers, AR 72756. GPS coordinates are N 36°20'109" and W 094°02'365" We camped at Highway 12 RV Park (Closed) in a Fifth Wheel.

Mingo RV Park, Tulsa, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a fairly clean park and everything worked. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only downside for me was there was a large number of FEMA trailers here, that they rented to permanent residents. And while I had zero problems in the two days I was here, I moved on. We camped at Mingo RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Double Nickel Campground, Waco, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We spent several weeks in this campground and were very pleased at the overall experience. Park was well maintained and everything worked. Has a nice laundry room, clean restrooms and showers. Pool looked brand new and was great. All roads and sites had new gravel and even after heavy rains, was not a problem. Lots of trees but they have open sites if you have a roof mounted satellite antenna. We will stop here again when we are in area. We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
