Roadrunner RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped overnight on the way to Colorado. Nothing but a gravel parking lot with full hookups. Grass and weeds were high all around the area. The wi fi was nonexistant.

The folks who checked us in were very nice. That was the only positive thing about this park. Pricey for what you get unless you are just interested in being close to the casinos. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Abilene RV Park, Abilene, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are very short. Our motor home is 36ft, with a tow. Could not fit in first site and barely fit in the next one. Was for one night, so dealt with the truck sticking out a little at the back. Office was clean, pool area looked good. Lots of residents in this park. If you have a 40 footer, keep going unless you want to unhook. We camped at Abilene RV Park in a Motorhome.

North Star RV Park and Mobile Home Community, Valley Center, Kansas

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

What a nice surprise. This campground is just north of Wichita KS off 135. Far enough off the highway to hear nothing. Nice clean park, level sites with FHU. Small park with a few permanent residents and attached to a mobile home park. We would definitely stay here again. Takes cash or checks only. We camped at North Star RV Park and Mobile Home Community in a Motorhome.

Cedar Shore Resort, Oacoma, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, off the road and on the Missouri River. They have had some issues with wash outs in part of the park, but not bad enough to stay away. Sites are not really level, especially on the south end of park where the pads are gravel. The north end of park has cement pads, still had to use blocks to level. Some shaded sites. Easy off and on I-90. Would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Cedar Shore Resort in a Motorhome.

High Plains RV Resort, Piedmont, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Very basic park. No bathroom or shower facilities. Good spot to visit Black Hills area. There are absolutely no amenities, but for the price what do you expect? This is a place to park and go see the sites. Sites are pull through and back in. Some without sewer. Sites are pretty level. You are parked in the middle of the RV dealerships rv storage area but who cares. We camped at High Plains RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Ennis RV Village, Ennis, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park. Nice neat sites, green grass and beautiful flowers everywhere. Wi-Fi is good as well as phone (ATT) service. Sites are level, gravel and easy to access. Laundry is good also. The only negative I have is that there is a LOT of traffic in and out. If you want a quiet park, this one is probably not for you. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Motorhome.

Valley View RV Park, Island Park, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects monthly stay. Additional fee for Wi-Fi, but reasonable. Staff is extremely helpful and informative. Park is well maintained, you can even water your lawn if you want, and wash your vehicles. Laundry facilities are good with plenty of washers and dryers. The only negative is the high traffic volume and the noise. Still a excellent park to stay while you are visiting Yellowstone area. Lots to see and do. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Buffalo Meadows RV Park (Fort Hall Casino Campground), Fort Hall, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is your basic casino RV park. Sites are level, full hookups. If you are in a motor home you will have to unhook your toad if you want to hook up to sewer connection because it is at the back of the site. Wi-Fi was non existent. It is a good place to stop and get off the interstate for a while. They do have a restaurant on site, so you don't have to cook. Just don't go in hungry because the wait is long for your food. Wouldn't say the staff is friendly, but they get the job done - eventually. We camped at Buffalo Meadows RV Park (Fort Hall Casino Campground) in a Motorhome.

Jones High Country RV, Nephi, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Good overnight stop. Sites are long enough to not have to unhook. We had to share water connection with neighbor which isn't good. I think they had added this site, but did not a water hookup. Site was level. Easy on and off the interstate and folks in office were nice. A few long term residents as in any park these days. We camped at Jones High Country RV in a Motorhome.

King's Riverbend Park, Montrose, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Nice level sites. Manager helpful and friendly. This park is close to town, but quiet at night. The only problem we had was the droppings from the resident geese. Managers cleaned it up before we parked. They moved on to another roosting spot. The rate reflects a monthly stay which was $450 plus electric. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at King's Riverbend Park in a Motorhome.

Heart Of The Rockies Campground, Poncha Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Not sure what some reviewers saw. This campground needs lots of TLC. Sites are hard to get in and out of if you are very long. Roads are rough and the campground it terraced so there are humps to go over. Staff was friendly. Several full time residents here. Price was out of line for this park. There is a laundry and showers, but we did not use. Just okay for an overnight stay. We camped at Heart Of The Rockies Campground in a Motorhome.

Cedars of Lebanon State Park, Lebanon, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

It is close enough to Nashville so we could visit tourist attractions there. It is a very nice campground. Some bigger rigs had some trouble maneuvering the turn around at the back of the park. The Park needs some tree trimming and that should help.We were in one of the circular pull through sites which are nice and private. The site was level and roomy. It features fire ring and picnic table with nice pad for chairs. Restrooms were clean, but could use some sprucing up. Showers need new fixtures, but are otherwise okay. There was a laundry and it was nice. I'm not sure if it is because it is off season, but the camp store wasn't open much. I had to go back to Ranger station to check in. We camped at Cedars of Lebanon State Park in a Motorhome.

Cullman Campground, Cullman, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Out of the way a little, but it was quiet, which we like. It is an older campground and the interior roads were a little rough, but passable. Site was level. Wi-Fi non existent in the site we were in. We were at the very farthest site away from the office. Folks were nice and friendly. Would camp here again if coming through Alabama. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Motorhome.

Raccoon Mountain RV Park & Campground, Chattanooga, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Family friendly park. Sites are not real level. We had to use blocks. Easy in and out. Off the beaten path, so nice and quiet at night. A little pricey for what you get. Good Wi-Fi signal and cable TV. Laundry was the pits. Close to attractions and interstate. We camped at Raccoon Mountain RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
