Pine Mountain RV Park, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest campgrounds I have ever stayed at. The restrooms and showers were immaculate. The sites were paved and level. We camp in a Truck camper and typically use it for fishing and warm weather camping. We were a little concerned about camping in Tennessee during the winter but the restrooms and showers were heated and usable even when the temp was in the low twenties. The host was also very accommodating, I would recommend this campground to anyone wanting to enjoy the Pigeon Forge area. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Piddler's Pointe RV Resort and Campground, Steinhatchee, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here to fish the Steinhatchee area. We were concerned about the previous reviews which were very negative. The park was previously under different ownership and was managed poorly. The current owners purchased the park in August of 2013 and have created a much better camping experience. The new owners were very accommodating; the restrooms were very clean as well as the showers. We really enjoyed spending Halloween with them and will be back. I would recommend this campground to anyone coming to Steinhatchee to fish as there was adequate parking for our boat and truck. Give them a try, you won't regret it. We camped at Piddler's Pointe RV Resort and Campground in a Truck Camper.
