Riverwalk RV Park in Fortuna, CA is a very nice facility offering both RVs and campers plenty of sites from which to choose. They have back-in as well as pull-in sites for RVers. There is a grocery/mini-mart at the registration office and also a recreation room. The staff was friendly and helpful in recommending local restaurants. Also, we noticed that the RV sites appeared to be split between longer term residents and regular vacationers. There is a separate area for tent only camping, which includes fire pits. The park also has a pool and hot tub and the park itself is family friendly. The restrooms were very clean, as well as the showers. The only complaint is that the free WiFi was very slow in its response. I would recommend this park to other RVers.

Yosemite Pines campground was a very nice location. It has spots for all kinds of camping – RV, tents, yerts and cabins. The park is very woodsy, and is also very family friendly. There is a small store for purchasing last minute supplies as well as a deli. The restrooms and showers were very clean. Each spot had a picnic table and fire pit. For RVers, there were pull-through spots and back-ins. The park also has volleyball, playground equipment, and a very nice pool with tables and lounge chairs. The only downside was that the Internet Wi-Fi connection was very poor. Another positive was that the web site gave us the appropriate driving directions for RVs (come up route 120). I would definitely recommend this park for families.

We stayed at Midway RV Park in late July 2013. We were a bit disappointed because we found that none of the RV spots had picnic tables. Also, we noticed that this RV park caters to some long term residents. We felt that perhaps they might want to group the more long term residents together and then have a separate area for those guests who are staying short term. The picnic tables near the pool were all full of spider webs. Also, when we went to plug in our cable for the television, we saw a wasp nest in the cable box. On the plus side, we were greeted by a very nice manager who gave us a ton of information on Napa wine country. The laundry area and bathrooms were very clean.
