Douglas KOA, Douglas, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

It seemed a reasonable price for excellent facilities. Most of the roads and pads are well placed gravel. There are small patches of grass with borders. The dog run is large with lots of grass. Service was courteous and efficient. Hookups were in good condition and were placed well. We camped at Douglas KOA in a Motorhome.

Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA, Pueblo, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Park was neat and clean. Staff was efficient and helpful. $50 for a barely adequate pull through and 30 amp service seemed high. Park was relatively quiet with a little bit of freeway noise. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

We received prompt, friendly service on arrival. Park is no longer AAA participant, but gave discount. Park is very tidy. Dog run is small, but very neat with nice grass surface. Grassy areas are irrigated and neatly trimmed. We camped at Twin Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Triple G Hideaway, Fort Nelson, British Columbia

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

RV sites and roads are gravel. RV wash station is a concrete pad with a pressure washer and a brush. The pressure washer is operated with coins. The 30 amp electric outlet for our site was not is excellent condition. Power shut down once due to a bad connection. I sprayed the socket with contact cleaner and it worked for the rest of our stay. There is a restaurant on site, but we chose not to eat there. This is a pretty good and popular park for an overnight stop along the Alaskan highway. The rate is an estimate as we were on a packaged tour. We camped at Triple G Hideaway in a Motorhome.

Northern Lights RV Park, Dawson Creek, British Columbia

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Campground has gravel roads and sites with a bit of grass (in the summer). WiFi works moderately well. Laundry and shower facilities were excellent. The parks fills quickly during tourist season. We were part of a group of 23 motorhomes gathering for a tour. There was another group there as well. It is a great place from which to start a tour of the Alaskan highway. We camped at Northern Lights RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rotary Campground, Grande Prairie, Alberta

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a clean campground with paved roads and campsites. There is an adjacent hike & bike trail suitable for cycling, walking, or running. A nearby bridge on the travel goes over a body of water with wildlife. A nearby park adds a good place to walk with a dog. The utilities and Wi-Fi worked well. Nearby are several opportunities for shopping and dining. We camped at Rotary Campground in a Motorhome.

Weaver Park Campground, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This was a nice campground with gravel roads and sites. It appears that the campground is maintained well and they are making improvements. Rules state that dogs larger than 25 lbs are not allowed. We have no problem walking our well mannered 65 lb dog. We camped at Weaver Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Red River State Recreation Campground, East Grand Forks, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very pleasant campground. Stays are limited to 14 days, so the sites are occupied by campers rather than long term residents. Roads are paved with concrete or asphalt. RV sites are gravel. The park has lots of grass and trees. It is within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. There are some great hike & bike trails adjacent to the park. We enjoyed a ten mile scenic bicycle ride from our campsite. The trail was aside the banks of the Red River. We crossed to the Minnesota side and back amidst lovely surroundings. We camped at Red River State Recreation Campground in a Motorhome.

Dakotah Meadows RV Park, Prior Lake, Minnesota

This is a nice RV park next to a casino. All roads are paved with concrete and roomy enough for large rigs. Hookups were well placed and in good condition. The proper place to park for check-in is not well marked. Office closed at 6:00 p.m. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Buckhorn Lake Resort, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is an exceptionally good resort. All pads are level concrete and all drives are asphalt or concrete. Grounds were neat. There is an excellent park for walking dogs that includes a large fenced area for activities off leash. Our rate was a rally rate. There were excellent meeting rooms for the rally. Only downside was constant noise from gasoline engines on pressure washers during the day. It is an upscale community and many "coach washers" were on site each day. We camped at Buckhorn Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

Lost Creek RV Park, Stephenville, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Extremely neat campground. All roads and pads were gravel and in excellent condition. I recommend reservations. It appeared that we got the only open spot in the campground. It looks like most occupants are relatively long term residents. However, it appeared that all the units were capable of traveling immediately (no skirts, ramps, decks, etc.). We camped at Lost Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Crow's Creek Campground , Smithville, Missouri

Overall Rating:

A very pleasant park with a lot of open spaces. Grounds are well kept and hosts check the area regularly. Most spaces are back in. It is a well maintained county park. We stay there at least once a year. Park includes some nice running/cycling trails. Roads into park are relatively narrow, but accommodate our 36' x 8' 6" motorhome. We camped at Crow's Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Azalea Acres RV Park, Robertsdale, Alabama

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We were greeted and shown to a site by a very friendly resident of the campground. The office was open 8-5 on the day we were there. Most of the sites with any shade appear to be occupied by long term residents. The park was very clean and neat. Our site had a very nice, level concrete pad for the coach and adjacent patio. The sites are very large. Most sites are grass and it appears that they are adding new concrete parking/patio pads. Hookups were in excellent condition and well placed. Wi-Fi worked well. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stagecoach RV Park, St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The park was clean and well kept. Most sites were gravel pads and roads were gravel. The entire area is level. Most sites had concrete patios with a picnic table. Most sites had ample room for a big rig to pull through. We chose to be in an end site which did no have ample turning room for our 36' coach to exit going forward. Had we been staying overnight, we would have chosen a pull through site ample for our rig. There were shade trees on the property and ample space for each camp site. Wi-fi worked well. We camped at Stagecoach RV Park in a Motorhome.
