Hilltop RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

As others have stated a "nice" place to stop overnight and it did have a GREAT sunset. Staff/owners seem to be friendly. But overall this is a dirt field covered with gravel on a hilltop filled with a great many long-term or permanent residents. No cable and the local TV antenna pickup is good, just not in English. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Motorhome.

Little Vineyard RV Park & Resort, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

It certainly isn't what it looks like on their web site! It's OK for an overnight stop, but not much more. Good Wi-Fi and cable and the pool and spa area looked OK, but weren't used. The campground is nothing more than a dirt field covered with gravel and surrounded with permanent modular homes. We camped at Little Vineyard RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Needles KOA, Needles, California

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

For a KOA that advertises itself as a "lush oasis in the desert" this was a let-down! While the staff was very friendly, they seem to let the place rundown. No cable TV, no Wi-Fi ,but still a premium price for an overnight stay. We camped at Needles KOA in a Motorhome.

Town & Country RV and Mobile Home Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Park seemed to be clean and well maintained; however, 36.00 per night and no Wi-Fi. I'll pass the next time through Roswell. We camped at Town & Country RV and Mobile Home Park in a Motorhome.

Tucson / Lazydays KOA, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent resort to stop overnight or stay a week or more! Excellent cable TV and WiFi and the Resort itself is first class. Did not get to eat at the Del Monaco's Restaurant as it's closed on weekends. Highly recommend for the Tucson area. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Grand Canyon RV Park is a GREAT RV park: it's well laid out and extremely well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Just a short walk across the tracks to downtown Williams. The Grand Canyon Railway is also a fantastic way to see the South rim of the magnificent Grand Canyon. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sam's Town RV Park is well maintained, but no grass and no shade trees. The paid internet is lousy! We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Bear Mountain RV Resort, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Bear Mountain RV Resort is just off Highway 99, eleven miles south of Bakersfield. Clean, well taken care of, however there is no shade, no grass, no pool, no nothing'! Traveling with a 12 year old Grandson who was bored with nothing to do, left early. We camped at Bear Mountain RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rancho Seco Recreational Area, Herald, California

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Rancho Seco RV Park is starting to show it's age. While it is a nice well run campground it's needing some TLC. Found several used syringes within the site. We camped at Rancho Seco Recreational Area in a Motorhome.
