Cluxewe Resort, Port McNeill, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Great location but our 30 amp site had unacceptable power. Our meter read 120 volts in the evening but both mornings we were here the volts went down to as low as 102. We had planned on staying 10 days but feared for our refrigerant and other electronics. We left and will not return. We camped at Cluxewe Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Quiet campground with outstanding panoramic view of the water and coastal range from most sites. Wide level grass and gravel sites. Good Wi-Fi. Good utilities. 30 amps really means 30 amps! Two mile very good gravel road to entrance. $130 per week. We will definitely return. We camped at Cedar Park Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Has a beautiful view of the ocean and islands, as well as the estuary. Eagles, cruise ships and snow covered mountains in the distance. Great walking paths out the gate. It's near town, and has excellent hosts. We will come back. WiFi was $1 a day extra. The 7th day of camping is free. We camped at Thunderbird RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Our rates are Passport America. We stayed for two weeks. Large mostly private sites. Wi-fi worked well. There is a swimming pond available. Even have pony rides for the little ones. Good location for touring the area. We would stay here again. We camped at Qualicum Bay Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
