We love this campground near I-10. Very peaceful and nice scenery. We have stopped by here many times now; sometimes for one night but often two or three. Just one caution; the sugar ants are present and you need to put out treatments to keep them out of your coach. They don't bite, but they can be a real problem if they go home with you.

This is a beautiful facility located right on the bay and near downtown Dest in. So many nice amenities and a gorgeous pool, pier, harbor. This was our second visit to the campground and would love to go again sometime. Just one negative thing. The sand burs are a pain. Maybe some spray treatment to get rid of them.

This campground is one of the better Thousand Trails we have visited. It does appear that the staff is making improvements and maintaining the property. The check in method could be improved. It would be helpful if the staff could inform which sites are available so driving around looking is minimized. The 5o amp sites were difficult to find but site maintenance was good. Will likely return here when we visit Texas again.

The campground is very nice with spacious sites. Couple of drawbacks are: the distance off the highway and only 30 amp electric service. We picked our site from the online map and thought we had a lake view. The lake could be seen through a tiny hole in the trees. We will survey the sites and pick our favorites for any future visit.

This campground is part of the Union County Sports Complex. Only 8 sites but they are spacious and easy to get into. When I was looking for a campground close to the Life Touch Hospice House online, there was little to choose from and we ended up 20 miles away at Moro Bay State Park. It is excellent but the drive back and forth was not ideal. After three days, one of the nurses said she thought people sometimes parked their RV's on east side of the Hospice but she knew nothing about what services if any were available. The next day we explored and found this campground, literally 200 yards from the Hospice. If you have loved ones in Life Touch Hospice House and need a spot for your RV, this is the place. Hope this posting helps others.

We are very pleased with this RV park. Well laid out, very clean and well kept, friendly helpful staff and very quiet. The clubhouse/office is perfect: large private shower rooms, ample laundry equipment, clean restrooms and available via keypad locked door 24/7. The provided WiFi works well and the cable tv has excellent selection and picture quality. There is a catch and release lake on property that I am told "Don't fish, it will break your heart when you have to throw the nice fish back". If you are considering building an RV campground, come and look at this one. It's the way it should be done.

This has been our Campground of Choice in Northeast Mississippi for many years. And it remains so. Have noticed during last 7 years that care of the park has deteriorated some. Still very nice and great workers at the registration station. Noted some plumbing issues in Men's shower near site #31 on last visit and they were not corrected during our seven day stay. Weekends and Holidays are really busy during the summer, so we try to go during week. Will be returning soon for another stay. Just a few miles to north of campground entrance is a corner gas station with restaurant. Recommend the fried chicken tenders. Trying the catfish next time. Name is something about Margaritaville. Used to be Burton One-Stop.

Nice park. Great meeting hall. Here for Rally and was excellent for this. Could use bathhouse in new section.

Beautiful scenic campground. Some sights are very tight. Be careful selecting. Star is very helpful and park being well kept. Near I 40. Careful if using GPS. Don't turn on White wing road. Entry to park about 3/4 mile from 40.

We have stopped here several times to an from Florida. A little off the interstate but a nice quiet park. We will return again when we pass through Montgomery.

This is beautiful location a little off the beaten path. We enjoyed and plan to return. Bathrooms suffered on the weekend maybe with bigger crowd than had been anticipated.

Beautiful spot with great view. We attended a Rally here and it was excellent spot for the Rally. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Everything available. Would stay here again. A little pricey.

This is a few miles from the interstate, but great peaceful spot to rest up or hang out. Only one negative and that is the sugar ants. Be sure to treat around any contact surface to prevent infestation.

This park is acceptable but needs some renovation. Nothing major; just routine maintenance to sites, hook-ups. We stayed here with ROD membership. Good spot near the Blue Mesa lake.

One of the cleanest parks we have stayed in; this was a one nighter, but would like to return. Quiet, peaceful, near restaurants in town. Big sites with easy in and out.
