We have a very mixed review. The sites are very close. The neighbors sewer is right next to your concrete pad. If making a reservation, ask for a Premium site in section F. The lake/pond area is overrun with duck/geese waste, that looks like dog mess. You cannot go anywhere around to fish without stepping into or around it. Very unsanitary. I went to the office to advise them and was told "What can we do about it?". The miniature golf course is very small, neglected and a eye sore as you enter the campground. Also, they charge you extra for kids to camp, but than want to add $12 a child to use the facilities. Very disappointing. We did like the pirate ship playground, kids activities and daily trash pick up at your site. The area is amazing with state parks and wineries!

Unfortunately, our experience at Ives Run was horrible. When we got to our site there was no electric. We called and let them know. They never called back and no one showed up. A massive storm was coming, so I called and asked about moving sites. The clerk said yes and gave me the site # to move to. Well when I started to back in, the people next to us came over yelling at us, saying the site was for their family and they had reservations. I explained I was told to move here. Wouldn't you know, a ranger showed up telling us not to hook up! A thunderstorm was coming in, and one hand did not know what the other hand was doing. We were only planning on one night, so I called Watkins Glen KOA and our site for the week was vacant, so we continued on up and added a night at the KOA. We were given the run around beyond belief. It took 4 phone calls to get our money back. The person on the phone and the ranger were giving us total conflicting information. By the way, our electric worked in the morning before we headed out, and when we got to the KOA.

We have been to this campground multiple times. We have always been pleased. The indoor water park is awesome. They also have an outdoor pool. The covered mini-golf is a plus in case of rain. They always have a theme going on for the weekends. Friends of ours stayed in the rentals and found that they are getting worn down. We are members there, so the camping is free.
