NRA Whittington Center Campground, Raton, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in the West park and there are no amenities here. The other park does have amenities, but they could not accommodate our 39' RV towing. We were a last minute check in. The park is very nice and I would come back again. This park does have wild animals, bears, etc, so be careful at night. I was running in the late evening and later found out a bear came by. The views are spectacular. We camped at NRA Whittington Center Campground in a Motorhome.

Douglas KOA, Douglas, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here only one night when passing through. Arrived after 10pm, but they had a spot for us with clear directions and even left a red light on to help us find it. We were a last minute arrival and they still accommodated us. Parked seemed very nice and clean. We camped at Douglas KOA in a Motorhome.

Broken Arrow Campground, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Park was very nice. Exactly 4 miles outside of Custer. The bathrooms were very clean and nice. The laundry was also very nice. The only problem I had was WiFi rarely worked. Not sure if it was because others were also on it, but most of the time it did not work. We camped at Broken Arrow Campground in a Motorhome.

Pine Grove RV Park and Campground, Greenwood, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The park was very nice and there was a lot of amenities. The laundry room was nice. I was not happy with the bathrooms. The hot water did not last very long and I was the only other one beside my Mom in the bathroom at 6 am. There were a lot of bugs throughout the shower room. Other than that I would stay here again, just not use the showers. I will stick with the shower in my RV. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Kamp Komfort RV Park & Campground, Carlock, Illinois

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This place was about 15 minutes from Morton, Il. We stayed for three nights and everything was good. We did not utilize any of the amenities, but there was a pool. Looks like they are doing a lot of upgrades. The park is a little out there and is near the interstate, but we used a sound machine for our 2 year old and never heard a thing. I am a runner and was able to run up and down the major road without any problems. We camped at Kamp Komfort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Stage Stop RV Park, Ozark, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

For a basic park, this place was very nice. There are no amenities: no showers, no toilets, etc. This is a very basic park with full hook ups. We arrived and paid our $20.00 in an envelope left in the drop slot. Located right behind Lambert's where the food was very good. Would stay here again. It's about 20 minutes from Branson. Like others said: it's like parking at Wal-mart, but with hook ups. We camped at Stage Stop RV Park in a Motorhome.

Durant / Choctaw Casino KOA, Durant, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here one night in July. The park has level sites and is perfect for large RV's with a tow vehicle. The park is very nice and the facilities are new and very clean. The play area was great and my 13 year old loved playing all the video games. This park would be good for a longer stay. They have shuttles to take you back and forth to the casino where there are more amenities. We camped at Durant / Choctaw Casino KOA in a Motorhome.

Prairie View Campground, Lusk, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

WOW! What to say? We pulled in and this place is for sale, not taken care of at all. The grass has not been cut in a long time. There are pot holes everywhere. There were only 3 or 4 RV's / trailers even here. Would not recommend staying here at all. We camped at Prairie View Campground in a Motorhome.
