Mountain View RV Resort, Canon City, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Clean well maintained RV park with good sized sites and great views. Many sites have concrete patios. Good ATT coverage and good free Wifi. Only complaint is with the satellite TV. We paid for a converter box but it never worked. Always complained of no satellite signal. Make sure it works in your site before you pay: no refunds. We camped at Mountain View RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

NRA Whittington Center Campground, Raton, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Large, mostly level gravel sites. Clean bathhouse in the East Campground. Wifi is available at the shotgun range close by. ATT coverage was excellent. We were able to pick up several over the air TV stations. Mining ghost town on the property worth exploring. We camped at NRA Whittington Center Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Duck Creek RV Park, Paducah, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Level sites, close to interstate. Good Wifi and ATT signals. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice fenced dog park with gazebo. Only complaint is there are only 4 bathrooms/showers for the entire property. They can get a little busy. We spent one night here on our way home and would stay again. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Deer Creek Valley RV Park, Topeka, Kansas

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

New RV park with level sites, most pull through. Great fenced dog park. Excellent restroom/shower facilities. Convenient location near interstate. Some noise from highway but we use a fan at night to mask any noise. Great Wifi and cable. Only oddity is they close the gate at 6PM local. Call ahead and they will give you the code to get in and have a packet of info waiting for your arrival. We camped at Deer Creek Valley RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Garden of the Gods Campground, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Helpful staff. Great location near local attractions such as Garden of the Gods. Poor ATT coverage (but I did not rate them down on that). They advertise free Wifi but it is barely usable at the best of times and often completely unusable. If you need to get work done while traveling, as I do, you will have to drive to a local coffee shop offering wifi. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Steamboat Springs KOA, Steamboat Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Great location with access to free bus service. Sites are a little tight. Very friendly and helpful staff. Allowed us some parking discretion since our site was too short for both camper and tow vehicle. Beautiful river runs through the campground. If we are ever in Steamboat Springs again, this is where we will stay. We camped at Steamboat Springs KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Kan-Do Campground & RV Park, Montgomery City, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We spent on night here on our way west. Friendly and helpful staff. The bath house could use some updating/repair. If you want a level site, do not chose one with shade. We camped at Kan-Do Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cumberland Mountain State Park, Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2005 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice campground for families. The sites are large and most are well shaded. A few are unlevel to the point of being difficult to use for a camper or RV. Sewer hookups are only available in loop 1 of the campground. All sites have water and electric. This campground seems to fill up fast. We camped at Cumberland Mountain State Park in a Travel Trailer.
