Double J Campground and RV Park, Chatham, Illinois

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Plenty room between sites. Management and personnel very friendly. Easy access to I-55 and Springfield attractions. Management was extremely helpful with getting my cellphone, found by another camper, returned to me. Wifi was very good also. Pool was large enough and clean. We camped at Double J Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whispering Hills RV Park, Georgetown, Kentucky

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 1 night. Very friendly helpful staff. Clean, modern, quiet campground. Level site, good WiFi but your usage is limited, nice pool area. It's hard to find a good campground in this area of the state but this one is it. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nashville KOA, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $98.00
Overall Rating:

This was our second visit to this campground and it is the nicest KOA we have stayed in. It's large, roomy enough, clean, close to attractions and restaurants, but very pricey. Site was gravel with concrete patio and level. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

River Plantation RV Park, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 5 nights in the north section where the larger RVs are usually placed. Very helpful, friendly staff. Pool area was newer and entire park was clean. Close to attractions, quiet, plenty space between units. WiFi was spotty, Sprint cell service good. Most sites are gravel with concrete patios but level. Many large hi-line rigs. We camped at River Plantation RV Park in a Motorhome.

Egg Harbor Campground, Egg Harbor, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We have been staying here for years and every year improvements have been made. The campground is centrally located to Door County's attractions. The staff works hard in keeping it clean, raking the sites immediately after a camper pulls out. There are many seasonal campers in the older section, but very friendly. In the non-seasonal section half the sites are heavily wooded but a newer open section opened up a few years ago. We had stayed a half-dozen campgrounds in Door County before this one and have not found another one roomier nor cleaner. We camped at Egg Harbor Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

While there, visit Peninsula and Whitefish Dunes state parks, eat at the Greenwood Supper Club, attend a fish boil at Pelletier's, and if you golf, play The Orchards (next door $$$), Alpine ($$), or Cherry Hill ($).

Vacation Station RV Resort, Ludington, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very clean and attractive park. Each site has a large concrete pad and patio. The staff and other campers were all very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and the area has many attractions. The only negatives were the Wi-Fi was weak most of the time and we had to go to the clubhouse area to use it. Also, though our site was a deep pull-through (the pad was approximately 60' by 18'), there was only about 6' of grass to the next site pad. Most sites, however, were wider. We will stay here again. We camped at Vacation Station RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sunny Brook RV Resort, South Haven, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

The sites were clean, attractive and level. This was probably the most "high end" resort we have ever stayed at but the employees and residents were very friendly. It is close to town yet not in town. Beaches and state parts in the area are very nice. The only negative for us was the sporadic internet which was pretty much unusable while we were there. There is no cable service, bit satellite reception was good due to sites being open. Like other reviewers mentioned, the facilities are country-club like. We will stay here again next year. We camped at Sunny Brook RV Resort in a Motorhome.
