Elk City Lake Park Campground, Elk City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: June, 2017
Overall Rating:

What a great overnight stay for free! Just a few miles off I-40. It was really hot out so we wanted to run the air. They have 50 amp electric. Only 5 sites but all are level and are right on the lake with lots of grass to walk the dog. We camped here in a 40 ft. RV and will definitely stay here again when passing through on I-40. We camped at Elk City Lake Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Pennsylvania Dutch Campsites, Bernville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $39.00

When we arrived we were given a map and told where to go, but the map and instructions were awful. We had to disconnect our car and drive around until we found the site. There were no road signs. It was so unlevel and the electric was behind the site, the water was 2 sites away. We finally found a level site, but our friends did not. They could not hook up both sewer and electric because of the distance between the two. So they used the electric which was only 30 amp and because they were working on the electric, we only had about 104 volts. We could not use the air conditioner and hair dryer at the same time. They don't believe in signs. They had a great restaurant there, but did not even know where it was because there was no sign on the building. No sign on the hours the pool was open. The entire park was full of seasonal people with golf carts running around. I would not stay there again. We camped at Pennsylvania Dutch Campsites in a Motorhome.

Pecan Park RV Resort, Jacksonville, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We liked this park. Sites were wide, paved and level. Good location to go site seeing North or South of Jacksonville. Located right off I95. Don't go just for the swap meet. It was just a bunch of junk. There was a outside bar near a gator pond that was pretty cool. Would definitely stay here again. Rate reflects PA discount. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Bayfield Riverside RV Park, Bayfield, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects a month's stay at $500. We loved it here. It was great to do day trips to Durango, Silverton, Ouray, Telluride, Mesa Verde, and Vallicito Lake. Beautiful flowers and running creeks throughout the park. Caught my first fish in their pond. Great staff. They even had a fireworks show for us! Sites are fairly good size with grass between and lots of trees. We will definitely be back! We camped at Bayfield Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Packwood RV Park and Campground, Packwood, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

At first glance we were very sceptical about this park. It is old and run-down. But it was a deal with our PA discount. The location is great because it is so close to Mt. Ranier. It's also right in the town of Packwood. There are several good restaurants that we could walk to. There is a library next door so I was able to connect to their WiFi. The spaces are big and there are huge shade trees surrounding the park. We saw elk roaming around in early evening. We camped here for 4 nights and would stay here again. Crown Point RV Park, Corbett, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, quiet and small park. The office was closed when we got here at 4:30 pm. They had our spot reserved. The next morning we left early to run some errands. By the time we got back the office was closed. The next day was Sunday and the office was closed. Could not pay until we had stayed 3 nights. No cable TV and the WiFi was in and out a lot. Although we enjoyed our stay because our lot was not cramped and we had lots of shade. We would stay here again. We camped at Crown Point RV Park in a Motorhome.

Osprey Point RV Resort, Lakeside, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 3 nights. It was a deal with our PA membership. When we first turned into the park, my expectations were low, but after we parked we were happy. Our site was very close to the beautiful 10 Mile Lake. They have a Pizza & Pub that had the best pizza. Big laundry and store. Close to the dunes for hiking. Large lots were great for our big rig. We will stay here again. We camped at Osprey Point RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Four Seasons RV Resort, Gold Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 4 nights. We went on Jerry's Rogue River rafting trip and we caught the boat right next to the park, which was nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a small park and the 7 mile drive off of 101 is a little narrow but manageable. We had some trouble with the internet but all in all it was a clean park and we would stay there again. We camped at Four Seasons RV Resort in a Motorhome.
