Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park, White Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is amongst a beautiful park and the Suwannee river. The sites in our area were pretty spread out so we had a bit of privacy.

Don't pick site 1. Someone in our group did and site 3 is attached to it. Late at night they had someone camp in it and it was very close.

Clean restrooms and showers, spacious sites of gravel featuring a fire ring and picnic table.

They had canoes to rent. We camped at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park in a Motorhome.

The park is large with many points of interest. The museum was nice as was the bell tower. We brought a golf cart and used the wheels off of it.

Big Meadow Family Campground, Townsend, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

We chose a river site with only 30 amps and we were just fine with that. It has a view of the river with a small residential road between you and the river. The grounds are kept beautifully. The staff was good to deal with. It is a very well run park and it served us for 5 nights. Close to Cades Cove. We camped at Big Meadow Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Cloudland Canyon State Park, Rising Fawn, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This park has two different camping location, there is a wooded one and a non wooded one. We chose the wooded one and we could not have been better. The is very spread out many hiking trails. We even found one from the campground that provided a nice swimming hole for the entire family. Laundry was cheap to do here also. This is high on our camping experiences. We camped at Cloudland Canyon State Park in a Motorhome.

River Ranch RV Resort, Lake Wales, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great place to stay. There are plenty of things to do and see for people of all ages. It was easy to locate and the access to the sites was great. Each site is privately owned, so the amenities on each site varies. Ours was set up so the people next to us shares a common area which was great because we were in two rigs. We camped at River Ranch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Cajun RV Park, Biloxi, Mississippi

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is a perfect safe park to stay in while you are staying in Biloxi. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and the park is very clean and helpful. We arrived late and the security guard assisted us to our site. Our paperwork was on a bulletin board. Full facilities and a pull through site assisted us in settling in quickly as we were pulling a toad. Trains, yes they could be heard but it did disrupt our stay. The first night 8 came through between 6 pm and 6 am. We enjoy trains, life is good. We camped at Cajun RV Park in a Motorhome.

West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA, Loxahatchee, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

This park is located just outside of the attraction Lion Country Safari so we heard the lions roar a few times a day. Once at 5:30 in the afternoon and once at 6:30 in the morning. This alone was well worth the fees. if you ask, admission to the park is included which equals to no charge for entry to the park twice if you stay two nights. That was a great value. This park is very easy to access and the sites were well laid out. The park is clean and the staff was helpful helping us to our site. We camped at West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA in a Motorhome.

Memphis KOA , Marion, Arkansas

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly enough staff and the park is great for a couple nights visiting the local area. We did not use the pool as it seemed the locals can pay a fee and use it as well. It was in a convenient safe location with a few restaurants a short distance away. We camped at Memphis KOA in a Motorhome.

This is located on the river in a marina type area but we felt very safe in this part of town so close to downtown New Orleans. The campground is very clean and the staff very helpful. We will always stay here when we return to this area. We camped at Pontchartrain Landing in a Motorhome.

New York City North / Newburgh KOA, Plattekill, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $100.00
Overall Rating:

Avoid this park if possible. Cable was non existent as was WiFi as well. The unit next to us was vacant but had the outside speakers blaring for three days. We were advised it would be moved each day but three days later they moved it. Typical close to an attraction park. Shame on KOA for considering this one of there's. Our complaints fell on deaf ears. We were here in two units. We would have been better served in a rest area. This is the first negative review we have issued since we are very tolerant people. The owners could care less for our problems. We camped at New York City North / Newburgh KOA in a Motorhome.

O'Leno State Park, High Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

This park has many hiking trails and a river to kayak or canoe in. The sites are sand and wooded. Ours had a fire ring, electric, and water. Wildlife was plentiful with many deer seen on the hiking trails. I would recommend the Magnolia loop for larger units and the Dogwood section for smaller although we were able to fit our 35' motorhome in both on two different stays in November. We will return here often. We camped at O'Leno State Park in a Motorhome.

Branson KOA, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice and roomy sites with varying degrees of shade. Close to all the things to see in Branson. The free pancake breakfast was a good way to start the mornings (other items were available for a very minimal cost) while chatting with other campers and talking about what they did the day before. We camped at Branson KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a very well run park and kept up nicely. The staff is very helpful and escort you to your site and even brush off the picnic table for you. Neat things to see in the park.
