Beautiful! Thank you prior reviewers! Great views, nice, level gravel sites. Personal escort & sign in at my coach! Much assistance with our refrigerator issue. (Cover your exterior fridge plate when having coach pressure washed). Would definitely stay here again for overnight or longer stay to visit the area!

Date of Stay:

Overnight stopover with 30 amp fairly level gravel site behind gas/store. Attendant very helpful. Big rig with toad pulls along row of hook ups. The remainder of the park is full of permanents. Roads rough in that area. Taking a space just behind the store avoids holes & puts you pretty much on your own. Road noise, so you must keep windows closed. We would take this spot overnight again only if it times out for overnight!

This was our second visit to this campground. Staff is great! Sites are level, gravel pull throughs for short term. Love the donuts & coffee for breakfast. Met another couple in the limo to the Texan to enjoy the evening with. Watched 3 guys try to eat the 72 oz steak. All failed! The limo runs to ALL RV parks & hotels in Amarillo. Would stay here again!

Great value. All pull through sites. Neat, clean, level sites. Shuttle to casino, so no need to unhook. A great place for a rally or large group. Staff is efficient and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again! No alcohol allowed!

Rate is for seniors. We had a great waterfront site. If you want sewer, reserve ahead. We had view of ships as they passed through the lake. Nice biking area. Great for family. Many stay 2 weeks at a time - the max. You can change sites for a second weeks stay & then must leave. Don't miss driving the trace, much to see!

Nice beachfront park. Spaces vary in size & amenities. Some have elevated covered decks. Adult pool & family pool. Great beach! Nicest beachfront park in St. Augustine.

This campground offer 1/2 off one night for Passport. Space was ok. Grassy, & fairly level. Our space was narrow for our slides. Nice park with much to do in season. Quiet after Labor Day. Must drive all the way through the park on a winding clay road to the transient sites. There was a short cut for the exit. If visiting in this area, we would return to this park.

This park is full of trees. Shady spaces, fairly level. We did observe 5th wheels having issues backing into back in spaces. They could probably improve those space by removing certain trees! We were after season, so a quiet park for us. It does fill up on football weekends. We would camp here again!

We found this park to be in the right place for an overnight. Just off 82 at 431. Turn just south of the Subway on 431and follow the road back through a log yard. Quiet, inexpensive & shady, with cable. They have some waterfront on a not so nice waterway. Not sure if it connects to larger reservoir nearby. Nice, clean pool. Many permanent campers, with lots of stuff. No trains! We would camp here again for overnight.

Well, we loved this park. Coast to coast for $10 & no additional charges as most coast to coast parks. Since our front AC is out, we asked for a shady space. The friendly staffer gave us a space in the Y section with great shade, and pull through. We gave up sewer for the shade, but there is a dump. Our site is set up to hold additional campers, but there were none, so plenty of space, overlooking the playground & lake. Our site was level and with 50 amp, good power. They give everyone a coupon for a free ice cream cone. Which we enjoyed along with purchasing a second one for my spouse. Hot food at the store looked great. Saw a pork tenderloin that looked wonderful & big enough for 2. Also saw someone take out 5 huge pizza's. People were bragging on the food. Each Fri. & Sat. at 7 is a hayride. There is a church service at 10 on Sun. Seems like a great family park. The store & putt putt are closest to the interstate, but sites close to those would surely have road noise. We would definitely camp here again when in the area.

We chose this campground over the other two due to reviews. I understand the statement that it felt more like camping at someones farm. Our site was level enough for our 40' by stopping on 2 higher spots in the site. We were unable to get dish in that site & the "cable" (owners analog 3 major channels) provided did not work for us. The gravel entry could use some leveling & was dusty when dry. The campground itself, was quite muddy after a rain. The owner is very welcoming & helpful with local info & even coupons for local businesses. We would camp here again if in Havre, cause we loved being off 2 & away from the train.

Price was 25+ 1.75 ac + 5 sewer. This campground is very close to Alexandria where the reviews had not been flattering. We were drawn here by the shaded sites and nice grass. It is a 3-1/2mi. drive from the 94 exit, nice paved roads. The welcome at check in was underwhelming. The pool is not usable due to super chlorinating. If so, it was way overdue. The pool was very cloudy. We had to unhook the car to reach the utilities in the pull through. We are hooked up to 30amp but can only run one A/C unit. The power is very marginal We should have moved on when check in seemed to pain the staff. Would definitely NOT return here.

We love our site,#38. At the end of the road & in the trees. Level part of site is to the rear, but long enough to level a 40 RV. Plenty of width for 4 slide, awning & nice picnic area. We have great AT&T & Verizon MiFi, but no TV, no way. No dish & no antenna. Very convenient to Glacier Park & very helpful with info on what to do & where to go. We can hear some highway noise & distant train, but doubt you can get away from either in this area. We would camp here again.

Price is: Good Sam + $5 reservation fee. The nicest park we have stayed in bar none. Huge spaces, some with a good deal of privacy. Beautiful parklike setting. Grass is golf course quality, which results in watering and mowing regularly. Be sure to follow the rule of not leaving belongings on the grass. Sites have a huge gravel patio area with picnic table for your outside items. Wish we had not arrived on a Thursday because the weekends are fully booked. We did get riverview site even last minute. Pull throughs are available, but the back ins have nicer sites. Train closeby, but no crossings for whistle to blow. Not an issue.

Agree with prior reviews. Nice, new campground. They could use some shade from the hot sun. Suggest sites facing north for less heat. Very friendly young man checked us in. Full of local information. The campground is in an industrial area, but was not an issue. Rode our bikes the short distance to town to see the Peach Basket event. Whole town was out for all ages competing in basketball on the main streets of town. The town lives up to its reputation in USA Today: "The friendliest town in the US." We would return if in this area.
