This is a beautiful park overlooking Lake Douglas just a short distance from I-40. Excellent landscaping, all paved sites and patios with picnic tables, and plenty of room on most sites for big rigs. Nice pool although crowded with children when we were there, but there is also a dock and a lake swimming area. Many sites have direct lake view but all sites have some lake view since it is on a hillside. The place is new and bathrooms and facilities were perfect. Only problem we had is getting level. Many of the sites slope considerably and our front wheels were off the ground. We saw one DP with rear axles off the ground. But most of the "premium" sites looked more level than standard sites. We would go here again but would be sure to pick a level site next time.

This is an older campground that is very clean and well maintained. Most sites are back in but access roads are pretty good and backing in was no problem. Sites are paved concrete with a wooden deck on the side with a picnic table. Fire rings are at each site with plenty of shade. Not sure satellite would work. Cable TV is digital an only works if you have a digital TV. We don't and were only told this after fiddling with the TV and cable for quite a while until I finally went back to the office to ask if cable worked. Staff was not all that helpful and questions were answered after the person on duty finally decided to look up from her smartphone. Additionally she didn't seem to know much about the area and suggested I "read the brochures" that were available in the office. A few of the sites are rather close together, and our neighbor had to move their chairs out of the way so I could extend my slide out on the driver side. Most of the other sites did not have that problem. Also be aware that the creek front sites are not full hook up, but a dump station is available. Lots of families were there for vacation so lots of kids were enjoying themselves. I would consider this park again if in the area as it is very close to the beautiful horse farms and Lexington area.

Excellent for an overnight stop with very easy access from/to I-64. Nice road for the 1/2 mile or less to I-64 and a very easy and wide access road to the park itself. Entry road is paved but sites are packed gravel. Most sites are pull-through and relatively level. On site owner/host were very friendly and accommodating. Pool and playground for kids and a small open pavilion that showed a movie the night we were there. We would definitely use this park again if in the area. We were only passing through but this would be a good spot to spend a few days to explore this part of KY/WV.

We stopped here overnight on the way south. Our rate was PA rate. Very easy to get in/out as directly adjacent to I-95. Check in quick and easy. All sites are paved pull throughs. Park is very well maintained and clean, and staff is professional and helpful. Jet noise from airport is intermittent, but the park is right under the final approach to JAX airport. We would stay here again.

This appears to be an older park that has had some upgrades as it is now affiliated with NASCAR. Its about 5 or 6 miles from I-81, and use exit 257 unless you want to drive through downtown New Market and make tight turns. We called ahead for reservation with no problems. The camp host met us at the office as it had closed when we arrived, and escorted us to our site. Sites are on the hillside (this is the mountains) and were not very level, though we did manage. We had a pull through 50 amp FHU site. Utilities were easy to use and worked well. Wi-Fi worked well, and Verizon signal was strong. I would stay here again. Rate shown is PA rate.

We stayed in the newer Timothy Lake South section. The park is several miles off hwy US 209 down a very hilly and curvy road with very few sighs. Don't despair, you will eventually get there. Staff was friendly and helpful and check in was easy, pick a site and come back to pay. We had pull through with 50 amp full hook ups. All worked fine and were easy to connect. Nice pool (we didn't use). However this place is expensive. The rate shown is PA rate. They add a $3 "resort fee". If you want cable TV, thats $4 per day extra. If you want Wifi, thats $5 per day extra which we chose not to get since we were only here overnight. Next time I will look elsewhere in the area.

This is a huge park with lots of top notch amenities. We had a pull-through 50 amp full hookup site. It was easy to get in/out and utilities worked well. This place has 4 swimming pools with one indoor, and a very large meeting facility that would be great for rally groups or special events. You are paying for the amenities (which we didn't use) and location (easy access to Boston, Cape Cod, Newport RI, etc.). However, the place has all gravel interior roads which are very dusty and even more so due to the fact that no one followed the park speed limit driving by very fast in a cloud of dust. Depending on what we want to be near, I may look for a quieter place next time.

We spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The CG is located on Mt. Desert Island about 4 miles or so from the town of Bar Harbor, and a couple of miles from the entrance to Acadia NP. This is a very large and older campground. We chose a larger pull through site on a hill, and had a little difficulty leveling. Ours was 50 amp FHU and were pleased with the service. Laundry room was clean an inexpensive. Lobster Pound across the street or back toward Trenton a few miles (yum!) Water front doesn't mean water access in this case. While you can see the water from some of the sites and the pool/playground area, it's not accessible, but a very nice view either way. We will try to stay here again next time we are in the Acadia area.

Nice park located within easy walking distance of Old Orchard Beach pier and boardwalk, yet far enough back that it was quiet and away from all the beach activities. Lots of seasonals there. Nice & clean. Called ahead for reservation and told to just come on in..was off season and plenty of spaces were available. We were in the back section which is newer. Level and plenty of room on our back in site. The pull throughs are limited and were full. Hook ups easy and worked well. Access road through the park a bit narrow but the CG escorted us to the site. Didn't use WiFi or the bath houses. Next time in this area we will probably stay here again due to its easy beach access and it looked nicer than the others we passed.

Very good overnight stop. Very easy in/out access. Facility is very clean and staff very friendly and accommodating. Reservation process extremely easy. Park office was closed when we arrived but we were given a site assignment on the phone when we called to reserve. We had no problem getting into the park to our assigned site. Updated power/cable/water pedestals made the connections easy. Though we didn't walk through the rest of the park, it looks as if the sites on the road front - all pull throughs - are the overnight spots and the remainder of the park is park models or permanent residents. Road noise was noticeable but not really an issue. Very good choice for in/out over night in this area. Will definitely keep this on the list for another trip. Rate is PA rate.

Used this as an overnight stop on I-75. Rate is PA rate. Very convenient to I-75 with easy access. Basic RV park with paved roads and gravel/grass sites. Our site was level. Friendly staff and easy check in. Easy full hookups with cable TV and Wi-Fi. Interior roads were a bit tight but no real problem. This is a very big park with lots of snowbirds and long term residents but it was very clean and well kept. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Rate is the campground rate. There is an additional vehicle entry fee of $8 per week. This is a Federal Park part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore. It looks like a Florida State park because it was until 1971 when it became part of the NPS. We stayed in the A Loop. Paved roads, paved sites, most with trees and shade. Bath house is very old and needs updating. It was clean, but old. Each site has 50 amp electric and water. A Dump station is close and easily accessible. Parking is available for additional cars of boat trailers. This park is on the west end of Florida, on one of those beautiful white sand beaches that extend from St. George Island to FloraBama. Fort Pickens is a good historic tour with plenty of walking, biking, and beach to explore. Also convenient to restaurants and attractions in Pensacola Beach and Pensacola proper. We will definitely return to this park!

Rate shown is PA rate. We originally were booked for 2 nights but enjoyed it and stayed another day as an extended stop on our way home from Texas. Nice facility, plenty of spacious pull through sites, easy full hookups with cable TV and Wi-Fi. Staff very friendly and answered all our questions about the area, and escorted us to site, then came back by later to ensure all was OK. All roads and sites are gravel with nice plants and foliage to provide some privacy between sites. There is a cafe/bar at the park with live music on weekends, and big screen TVs for watching ball games. The park is on a major waterway near the south side of Lake Ponchartrain. It is expanding and not yet to full capacity. The picture on their website is an artist rendering, not a real picture, but they are getting there. They have houseboats and cabins for rent, a marina with boat launch. Right across the canal is a bigger marina and a yacht yard. It is about a 15-20 minute drive to the French Quarter, and they also have a shuttle that is only $5. It is convenient to many very good restaurants in the Metairie area close by, and in New Orleans. We look forward to returning to this RV park next time we're in the area.

Rate shown is PA rate. We stayed here one night as as a stop over on the road. Very nice park with all the usual amenities. Friendly staff and easy hookups. All sites are concrete pull through sites. Lots of pavement with very easy access from I-10 and very easy access into and out of the park. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Free breakfast each morning in the clubhouse. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Rate shown is PA for 2 nights, 3rd night was standard rate of $40 with TACO discount. Beautiful park in a pecan grove on scenic Johnson Creek. All sites are concrete, most are very long pull throughs. Grass next to the concrete pad with picnic table. Easy hookups and good cable and Wi-Fi. Nice pool and lodge on top of the hill overlooking the creek. Creek access area too for wading/swimming. Lots of rules but nothing we couldn't abide by. They require pads or wooden blocks for your jacks on the concrete, but the office had plenty to lend if you don't carry them. Also no mats or rugs on the grass next to your RV. Tip: if you have one of the narrower sites, pull in as far left as you can so you have some room to step down on the concrete pad. They are working to make and keep this as a top notch RV park in the hill country. Near Kerrville and other places for sight seeing. We very much enjoyed our 3 days here and look forward to returning.
