North Beach Camp Resort, St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We read some of the reviews and decided to give it a shot. We use our own bathroom and shower in our rig; that's why we bought one. We thought the campground was one of the best campgrounds we have been in quite a while. The sites were beautiful and so were the tree lined streets. I think some people must confuse beach camping to a beach resort like the Ritz or Marriott. I think for less than fifty bucks a night you got free electric, free cable, free water, you were within walking distance to two great restaurants the beach and the intercoastal waterway. You get sand on your feet going to the beach or the pool, and you have to clean them off yourself, its camping. Go have fun and leave your computers home. We camped at North Beach Camp Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Sunset Isle RV Park / Motel, Cedar Key, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Cedar Key is a great place but the campground was not one that we would go back to. You were crammed in the sites and the place was not maintained. A lot of junk laying around. We camped there in a 5th wheel over the 4th of July. Our sewer pipe we had to mount on 4 concrete blocks that we found on the site next to us. The pipes were exposed and way out of the ground and wouldn't drain. We camped at Sunset Isle RV Park / Motel in a Fifth Wheel.
