Petit Jean State Park, Morrilton, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at 3 different Arkansas state parks during our vacation, and this one was the biggest surprise to me. It was absolutely beautiful at this park. We stayed in campground A and had an absolutely beautiful view of the lake. We had a nice level site. The staff at the lodge were very nice and very helpful. My wife and I love to hike, and this was our first visit to this park, we were very impressed with the trails here. There is something cool to see around every corner. This is the nicest state park I have ever visited. We camped at Petit Jean State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Compton Ridge Campground , Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The people that ran this campground were very nice. Just about all the sites had nice shade. I was led to my site by a nice gentleman. I stayed at this campground for 2 nights and was asked twice if everything was OK with my stay. These folks are very attentive to their campers. The grounds were clean, as well as the bathrooms and showers. The store located on the grounds rocked; it had just about anything that a camper would need. I will stay here the next time I return to Branson. My wife loved the place as well. We camped at Compton Ridge Campground in a Travel Trailer.
