Ancient Redwoods RV Park, Redcrest, California

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is great, right in the heart of the redwoods, just off the 101 hwy. Big sites, helpful and friendly staff, great views. IF you want satellite get the sites on the second row, facing toward the little creek. All in all a great place. We camped at Ancient Redwoods RV Park in a Motorhome.

San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA, Petaluma, California

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

This place is OK for one night, but was loud and unorganized. First, my reservation was not what I paid for. The site was small and uneven. We had to move to a different site next to pool which was a big mistake. Also very expensive for the area. Would not stay here again. We camped at San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA in a Motorhome.

Trailer Village (Concessionnaire Operated), Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in 2008. There has been no improvements at all. The sites are uneven and torn up. Yet how can you complain about the views? A short walk and you're at the rim. For a federal park, our tax dollars should be better used in improving the camp roads and sites. We camped at Trailer Village (Concessionnaire Operated) in a Motorhome.

Eagle View RV Resort, Fort Mcdowell, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We found this park to be pleasant and quiet. You are across the highway from Fort McDowell casino: a shuttle will pick you up. It was a small casino but it was fun. We were here the week of Christmas and New Years. Rented a car from Fountain Hills, a town close by. Did some horseback riding and sightseeing. It was a grand time. We camped at Eagle View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The site was nice, but not very level. It dipped off in the front. It was very loud all night. We would not stay again except in a pinch. We camped at Riverwalk RV Park in a Motorhome.
