Trusting my previous KOA experiences, I felt confident blindly reserving a space for 3 nights. Bad decision. While the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the grounds and facilities were clean, it simply could not make up for the extreme lack of privacy due to the spaces so close together. Our neighbor's sewer hook ups were right under our picnic table, which had to be moved so that we could open our door without hitting it. Seriously, we could hear our neighbors use their restroom on one side, and the gentleman on the other side was a snorer. Mix those with the 18 wheeler traffic that buzzed all night long, and it made for a less than satisfactory stay. I am getting acquainted with the RV camping lingo, and this is a poster for 'urban' camping. I would venture to say that there would be more space in a grocery store parking lot near the front row!

This is a slice of heaven! The staff are happy, friendly, and helpful. Sites were well spaced, super clean, quiet, and the grounds staff even pick up your trash and recycling, while making firewood deliveries! What more could anyone ask for? The park is across the street from Stevens State Park which has numerous trails that lead to the beach and a number of historical sites as well. This place is in my top 5 favorites.
