Oceano Campground, Oceano, California

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful find, but not on reservation system. First-come basis. San Luis Obispo County operated park with full hook-ups. Back-in sites, most double wide for second vehicle. Tent space, firepit, and table with each site. Two camp hosts. Weekly rates available. Two week limit. A few sites can handle 40' trailers. Small children's park onsite and larger community park across the street. Just 1/4 mile to beach and Oceano OHV State Beach. Next to Elks Club RV parking and around the corner from Pismo Beach State Park Oceano Loop. We camped at Oceano Campground in a Motorhome.

Rancho Sedona RV Park, Sedona, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2005 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

I would disagree with the negative posts. Staff was friendly, gave helpful information on driving instructions when I called ahead for same day reservation, received good information on what to see and do, and office worker arranged for free, park-provided shuttle service to Upper Sedona. There is now free Wi-Fi. Sites in the "loop" area are small but park's location is very convenient. Prices varied. $2 extra fee for dog. Tax (blame the local governments) on a $32 site was nearly $5. We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Motorhome.
