Pirates Den Resort, Parker, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Spent 4 nights at Pirates Den. Campground is located on Colorado River. There is one row of lots right along the river that are very nice. There is a long waiting list to get one of those coveted spots. With them they get a very nice cabana surrounded by white sand. The rest of us are not allowed to use any of same. You would think these spots go for a lot more but you would be wrong. There is a sidewalk the rest of us can stroll on but you are made to feel very unwelcome by the campers that "own" those lots. The rest of us are relocated to 3 back rows that we are packed into. We had a nice cement patio to sit on but couldn't bear to sit out there as the neighbor's sewer gas made it impossible to enjoy. They have all the policies in place that everyone's sewer has to be sealed etc., but no one enforces it. We camped at Pirates Den Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Amarillo Ranch RV Park, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived just before record snow storm and sub freezing temps. Park drove us right to our spot and guided to proper placement of services. Also provided limo service to The Big Texan. Management had sidewalks and roads cleaned off right away in the morning. Lovely indoor heated pool. Stayed an extra night due to snow. Very nice campground. One thing to note is after reading reviews I asked for Lot P. That is just for executive motor homes. We camped at Amarillo Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Arizona Oasis RV Resort , Ehrenberg, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is right along the Colorado River. We planned on staying a week. After one night we drove around and looked for someplace else and moved on the next day. When making the reservation we stated we were staying a week and they placed us in a lot that was the most unappealing. There was several nice lots and if we were placed in one we would have stayed. However there is very little to do in the area. Couldn't wait to leave. We camped at Arizona Oasis RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Meteor Crater RV Park, Winslow, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very well maintained park. The office closes at 7 pm and the gates are locked to the park so you have to arrive before 7. Park is super close to Meteor Crater and the park provided a discount coupon for Meteor Crater. Then Meteor Crater receipt had a discount for gas at RV park gas station. Nice little perk! Would definitely stay at this park again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Johnson's Campground and RV Park, St Mary, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very disappointed in this park. The park needs a lot of work. The sites are not level. What very little grass there is, is covered up by dandelions and weeds. Campers are packed together very tightly. We camped at Johnson's Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
