Another nice stay here. Camped July 4th weekend but had to leave a day early but we're able to leave the camper there overnight and picked it up by checkout the next day. The time we did spend there was good. We were in a different part of the park this time which we liked. Nice staff and very friendly. Store building is nice but not a ton of stuff in the store. Bought some wood but unfortunately they store it outside and do not cover it so it was very wet and was a lot of work to keep a fire going. The area the campground is in just adds to the entire experience so it just makes for a fun all around good time.

Our first trip and a pleasant surprise. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a true campground and not a resort which IS what we expected. Site was on the smaller size but fit what we needed to fit. There was a burnt out electric outlet at the site which was 15 amp. Looking around I noticed the back corner of our site and the site in front of us had a couple 30 amp. Unfortunately my cord was about 4 feet short. Have never had this happen before and had never bought a $55 extension cord. Before hooking up and moving the trailer, I headed to the office. They had a cord for sale but I asked and they had one a could borrow. They had it delivered to the site. So all was good. For dinner I checked out the snack bar which was close to our site. Great selection and a bunch of friendly people there. It was busy but I ordered a pizza and it was very good. Later went back for an ice cream. They had plenty of other things and by the size of the crowd, it all must have been good. The beach and lake were amazing. Clean and beautiful. They rake down the beach at night. There is a beach hut with all the things you need, ice, sun screen, sand toys etc. makes for a nice stay. There are boat docks for rent and boats for rent as well. For renters,I'm thought this was cool, they had raised platforms for tents which included a covered platform for the picnic table. Some of the best reviews of the lake. Already talking about a return here.

This is a great place but is hilly for sure. Great pool and snack bar and the store was good as well. Staff was great and friendly. In the past security had been a little over the top but were great this time. The place really quiets down at 10 which is good. Our site which was not too level but most seemed to be level do we wrote a few numbers down as we walked around. WiFi and cell service available down front but not at the sites. Ice cream sundaes were great on Sat night. We will be back.

This is a nice "old fashion" type of campground. Lots of choices in cabins and sites, some with bathrooms on the site. Staff and manager are great, always willing to talk. Campground offers plenty to do if you wish or you can just enjoy sitting back and relaxing. The campground is split by a road but the road noise is not bad. This was our 2nd year in a row going the first weekend in June. Not too much in the area unless you drive 30 minutes or so. Store was well stocked with anything you would need. Will return at some point.

This was our 4th visit here and it is just a nice place with great owners. Our site has been great, large, level with room to spare. Some parts of the campground, near the water, put in by the original owners can be tight but you get a view. This campground was quite dusty this weekend with it being so dry. They water the roads to keep some of the dust down. The owners are always doing something to clean or improve something. Just a great campground. If there was a negative, it was with a few campers who feel the leash rule for dogs did not apply to them as one day we had 3 different dogs come after our dog. We will return at some point to camp again.

We were back again for what has turned out to be a yearly stay. This year it was not our kickoff trip but our second of the year. As always the campground was in great shape and you could see improvements that have been made or are being made like the upgrade to the store and office. We were in sites near the pool this year which gives a little different view of the campground. We could hear a little noise from the road and the train but nothing from the rest of the campground. No problems though, love hearing trains. The site was great and since this was our second trip, we did not forget anything so the truck did not have to move. We took advantage of the road with games and shot some hoops, played a little bocci and checked out everything else. Staff and owners were as friendly as always. You cannot go wrong here.

For New England, this park is it. Our 2nd time here and it is just a great place. It is big and some would not like being close to neighbors but for us, we had an end of row site so no one was in front of us, we had some grass which was nice. Off season rates as everything is not up and running but the indoor pool was good and the newer snack stand was open. Easy walk to the store with parking a bit before the gate so you do not have to leave the park. We lucked out with the weather so nice weather and nice campground led to a great start to our camping season. Negatives, yes, I guess most places have them but not all their issue so... Barking dogs, there were a lot of dogs there which is great but I wish dog owners cared more about other campers and did not let their dogs bark for an entire weekend. Speed of cars, so people just do not realize what it is all about and go flying around the campground in their cars. Also the price, it is high but you do get what you pay for and can choose to camp elsewhere. We will return at some point.

This is a great little campground, our favorite. Great owners who are very welcoming. They maintain the campground and the rules very well. We were looking for a quiet restful vacation and that is what we got. WiFi was good as were all hook ups. Our site was in the open area and not the wooded area which was nice on the cool mornings as we got the morning sun. The campground is in a great area to visit all the White Mountain attractions. Will return for sure.

The Bluffs is 50+ seasonal area of the Danforth Bay Camp Resort. They have a few long term sites (week or more). We know some seasonals so we stayed for a visit. This is a nice, clean, quiet campground. Many sites are private and all seemed good size. The seasonal sites were large and neat. Campers here can use the Danforth Bay facilities but Danforth residents can only walk through the Bluffs. Visitors 21 and over are welcome but under 21 must be with an adult and must go to Danforth to swim or play. Our site was level and good size. The hookups were all good including nice cable that gave a clear picture. Wi-Fi was a little weak and Verizon could have been better but you are off the beaten path. The club house and pool complex was very nice. We will hopefully return next year and keep this place in mind if we decide to go seasonal again.

We have stayed here twice before and have loved it, this time was still good but not quite as much love. Some of this could be caused by the group we camped with but mostly it was the other campers. Being Labor Day weekend you expect some issues but there was a group that was loud and out of control. Should have been removed but they were not. On the good, we were able to take advantage of the noon check-in and we extended our checkout so that was great. They have a new jumping pad which the kids and some adults had fun on. They had activities, a nice pool and mini golf to name a few things. Our site was great and we enjoyed everything else about this campground. Great location for many local sites. Not sure what the future will be but I am sure we will be back at some point.

This is a real nice campground. Our second stay here. Lots of grass and open space which was nice. The views were great. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We were able to put up a tent on our site for our son and we were able to leave the trailer for an extended checkout while we moved our son into Vermont Tech College. Nice location to the college. Not a lot to do in the area but central to a lot of Vermont sites. Will stay again as our son has a couple more years here.

This is a nice little campground with friendly owners. This was our second stay here. Our site was a little wet but all was fine. We were at the end of a row facing the woods and what seemed like wetlands. Thought it would be buggy but it was not. Site was very private. Trash pick up and wood deliver was great. The store here is great, plenty of cool little things. The campground seemed to have available sites all weekend which was surprising. Just down the road from the Quechee Gorge which is a nice little hike. Our friends 91 yo dad was able to do the hike with us. We will return as this is very much worth it for us.

This is a large campground, bigger than we thought it was. For its size, we were amazed at how quiet it was. Night and day there was no noise at all. The weekend was cloudy but no rain so maybe some of the seasonals did not come up. Everyone was very friendly and we have now been to a campground that does not charge for day visitors. No pool or pond here so luckily it was not hot, we are not the type to pack up the car and drive to cool off. Our site was easy to back into, long and quite large. Friendly campers around us, good site hook ups. Limited channels and no cable or Wi-Fi. I know we are camping but sometimes I like the news. Plenty to do in the campground for the kids. Large store but limit supplies. Not too far from the beach and shopping. Nice apple orchard down the street. Will stay on our list, as it is a short ride, but the pool issue could keep us away but the place was pretty full so not an issue for most. Plenty of site types to pick from, tent, cabins, w/e and full hook up. Nice campground for walking.

We booked with friends for the main reason to tube on the Pemi River. They had stayed here before and it was our first time. We had our own tubes and were brought up river by campground staff for $5 per tube. This part was great, we had fun out on the river. The check in was easy and the staff was fine, I think it was the owner checking us in. Our site was a good size, we just had to watch where we put the trailer so we could open the slides and the awning with all the trees. So far so good. Took a walk, lots of people around, all having fun. Had a fire, all is good. This is your basic campground which was fine. It is next to the highway but not an issue for us as we were on the other end of the campground. Now for the issue, there is one rude seasonal camper and I think other campers and the staff are afraid of him. Three times during our stay this person put a CD into his truck radio, opened the doors and blasted music, mostly military type drill marches. Half the campground stopped in their tracks to look to see what was going on. The staff's answer to this was not to ask him to stop but that we could move if we wanted to, they would not tell him to stop even though it is their #1 rule. His wife asked him to turn it down and he yelled out that he was going to torture all the liberals camping. He even yelled as some people walking by as they did not come to attention. Anyway, I usually try not to let one item rule the day or the rating but the fact that management lets this go on without stepping in is where my problem is. If it was addressed then it would not be an issue. On another note, we had a lot of rain and the campground seems to have a drainage issue as the roads and some sites were under water. They did have some trucks showing up with dirt so they are working on this to improve the campground.

We booked a full hookup site and my son booked a tent site. Pulling in to the campground and looking across the field, the campground looked real nice. The check in was easy and getting to our site and into it was a breeze. We were in the woods but just on the edge, which was nice. There were plenty of activities and we enjoyed watching the little train go by. We took some nice walks with the dog and the campground was nice, people friendly and sites were good. Some sites could use the grass to be cut but the playing area in the field was in great shape. Close to LL Bean and the outlets. We could hear the karaoke from our site and became a joke as to how bad the next one would be. LOL. If in the area, we would return as we enjoyed our time here.
