We stayed here again with friends and this place just puzzles me. We made a last minute reservation because of a cancellation. The reservation is lacking as site are empty but they have them listed as full. The good about this stay is we could walk to the beach and into town, our site was good size, the pool was close by and the noise was not bad. There is a train that is close (a track and freight) but that does not bother me. Check in was fine. The site was dirty with cigarette butts and other trash, it would have been nice if that was picked up. We had a couple fires even with the hot weather, hook ups were fine and the wifi was great. I cannot put my finger on it but I just cannot warm up to this place. Anyway, good for the beach but for me, that is it.

This is an amazing campground with very nice and friendly owners. This place is clean and well cared for and the new pool is wonderful. The owner takes pride in the pool and the campground. Other campers were extremely friendly and a lot of fun. If you are into parties and don't like grass or being somewhat close to your neighbor then this is not for you. If you are into quiet, relaxing clean campgrounds then this is the place for you. We did not make it to the Sat night band but the afternoon free cookout was great and very nice to be offered to all, thank you for that. We have booked for next year already.

We like camping here. People are very nice and friendly. There was a small issue Friday night with some noise. Someone turned in our site as the noise makers but it was not us. The campground handled the situation very professional and all was good. This is a nice park to relax and walk around. As with many campgrounds, the sites come with pier pits and tables and there was no smoke issue when we were there. Price is fair for what you get compared to other area campgrounds. We will be back for sure.

This was our first visit here. We were nervous open the openness and lack of trees but as it turned out it was not an issue, we had just enough shade when we needed it. There are new owners here that bought just before the season started. They were super nice and very friendly. They took good care of us and our guests which we really appreciated. Our son lives down the street and he was able to visit and the visitor policy/fee is extremely fair. Our site was along the river and was a great size. Plenty of room for anything we wanted to do. Maybe it was out location but the wifi was tough. Sometimes it was fine, sometimes it was real slow and other times it was not available. It is nice that it is offered so we made it work for us. We enjoyed a local restaurant in the area, The Lions Den for a Fathers Day Brunch. All in all it was a great trip.

We just love it here, the feel of the Cape. We camp here at least once a year and will continue to review it because it is great. It is hilly but nice to walk around. People are friendly as is the staff. We laugh as the workers rush to clean the sites as trailers pull out. Some sites get cleaned 2 or 3 times as the guys just run around making sure the place is in great shape. The pools were open but a little too cool for us to go swimming. Stopped in the ice cream shop a couple times, really enjoyed that. As always great fire pits and good wood made for a couple of great fires. We just love it here and will continue to camp here for as long as we can.

This is a real nice park. It was extremely quiet the weekend we were there which is just what the doctor ordered. Peaceful and restfull was great. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Easy to walk around with plenty to do in the off season. Not far to the coast and Wells or York Beach. This was our second time here and my wife was wondering why we do not go here more often so I guess we will be back. It was an easy ride coming from exit 3 of the Maine Turnpike.

This is a very clean and very friendly park. The office/store staff are very nice as are the owners. The hookups at each site are very up to date and work very good. The campground is maintained very nice and everything looked great. We try to get here every year as we love it and fine it very peaceful. The pool complex is very nice and many are able to enjoy it. I was a holiday weekend but the noise was not bad at all, maybe a camper or two but no issues. Seasonal camps are neat and although there are golf carts, most all drive very slow and responsible.

Still the Premier Campground in New England. Very clean, very friendly and great activities. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the snack bar. My son took part in many activities. Plenty of staff and all that we talked to were great. Checkout the website to see all that they offer. Well worth the visit. If there is a negative it is the slow wifi, they do offer an upgrade service but it isn't much better.

Quiet and peaceful along the river. Plenty of trees and enjoyable views. Campground is in the process of spring cleaning and adding a new restaurant. Easy to find and nice people. We will return.

First visit and off season but we enjoyed the campground, glad we went. We were in the back section and our site was ok but it could have been a bit larger, had to park the truck in at tough angle. The hook ups all were fine and the neighbors were very friendly. It was somewhat busy for being later in October. The front section had lots of activities with many kids enjoying the bouncy pillow and playground. As we walked there are some really nice sites with plenty of room and some others that are just small. For some with lower trailers, the sewer hook up could be a bit uphill which would be an issue. All in all we are glad we went and will keep it in mind for future trips.

Another great stay, we love it. We had a great site with a great view. Hook ups were great. Check in was quick and easy. We were able to relax here. A lot of the seasonal so we're working all weekend getting ready for the winter. Bought wood and it burned very well, kept us warm all weekend. Just a real nice, pleasant and friendly place to camp. Next year we hope to stay longer and go a little earlier in the season.

First time here and we really liked it. Did not know what to expect but we had a very level pull through site. Hook ups were great. Owners were great and by friendly. Extended our stay and visited the Fyreburg Fair. Nice area, we will return at some point.

Our second trip here and it was as good as the first. This is a very clean and quiet campground. We were able to go boating to check out the lake which is very nice. Not many were there for the weekend and there is definately more activity on the Danforth Bay side of the campground. The staff was good and check in was easy. We will need to do a week during the summer at some point to see the full operation. We love it here.

Price included free night for KOA members. Our first stay and the end of our vacation. We arrived after a 7 hour drive from DC and it was a little tricky finding it as we had to avoid the Parkway but we made it. Very friendly greeting by the owner and we were given a very nice site that she picked for us. Very nice campground and so friendly, everyone was waving to us while driving, walking or sit at the site. They had a band in Sat night which is rare once Labor Day is over. It was an extremely enjoyable bank and we were able to sit at our campfire to enjoy them. This was a great find for us but they are 3.5 hours away without traffic so we will see if we make it back, hopefully we will.

Our first stay here and we loved it. We were given a premium site but had requested a standard. Due to our request to be near the pool, we were given the premium site. We were happy with the upgrade because of location, site size and short walk to the pools. Went in the pool everyday which was nice after a long day walking around DC. We did not use the metro at all but decided to drive to DC and park for free. It was 30 minutes if we were not traveling during rush hour. The store was great, huge RV section. The campground had a lot to offer and we were glad we stayed here. Will stay again at some point.
