We love it here. Beautiful campground with spacious sites. Some are very private and others are out in the open. Very quiet in the off season. Everyone is very friendly and we enjoyed our stay. You get to go to the Danforth Bay side to take advantage of their activities etc. We will return.

Stayed 6 nights and enjoyed our stay. Owners were very nice. It was off season so it was somewhat quiet although busier than we expected. Our site worked fine but was tight, had to leave the truck on the very edge of the street. Had to move it a couple times to let campers out from across the street. If you are in the area for Bar Harbor, you are about an hour away. There are a few things to do in the area but not much. We were there for 6 nights. Will return if we are in the area.

Just home from a nice Labor Day weekend. We like the campground more every time we go. The owners are very friendly as are the seasonal campers. It was fun to see so many kids out running around, riding bikes and playing basketball. From our site we could enjoy listening to the DJ while sitting by the fire. We found the evenings to be mostly quiet especially for a holiday. We have booked for next year already. Wifi was good at the start of the weekend but would kick us off often as the weekend went on. Our site was a pull through which worked out great and was a good size for us.

This is like 2 different campgrounds. Last year we were in the back section which was fine but away from everything. This trip we were in a backin site in the front section. We were right in the middle of the activities. Since our grandson was with us this worked out great. We were near the jumping pad, ice cream social, train rides, mini golf and pool. Our location made it real nice. Wifi was good as were the hook ups with great water pressure. We found the campground to be extremely quiet and enjoyable. Staff was great and friendly but could do a little better cleaning sites as our fire pit had trash in it when we arrived. Unfortunately for us it is bee season and they swarmed the site when ever we were going to eat or someone opened a soda. We had to eat a few meals inside to get away from them. This is a nice campground for a quick getaway.

Great pool complex. Our site was plenty big enough, larger than many campgrounds we visit. Enjoyed a couple I've creams from the restaurant. Many seasonals with nice sites but they are some that are cluttered with too many tarps and canopies. The entertainment was enjoyable, loved the pool side music.

Our first time here and I had read about the great donuts and the great owners. Well, on check-in I was told donuts are only available on holidays, which was disappointing, and I felt the owners were not that nice about the fact I asked about them. Anyway, we headed to our site which was easy to get into but with the length of our trailer I could not get it level. The site was on a hill and I backed up as far as I could go and lowered the front jack as far as it would go and we were still a bit unlevel. Anyway, all this aside, the place grew on me. After set up and dinner I went back to the office to check the pool times as they are not posted and was told 9:00, which was great. We had the older pool to ourselves so to cool off as everyone else was at the beautiful newer pool. Took a nice walk the next day and it is a real nice place. WiFi was a little slow and you need a password which I did not get. I guess it is written on the book they give you but mine was blank. Anyhow, since we were in the mountains and thunder storms started at 2, we were "lucky" and the mountains held the storms overhead for over 10 hours. Parts of the campground did flood, we went out to dinner rather than standing in puddles to cook. We plan to camp here again and hope that it is as enjoyable as the good parts of this weekend.

This is a basic, rustic campground. We did not use the bathrooms so we cannot comment. The hookups at the site were fine and they included cable. There is no wifi at this campground. The site was good size but not real level. We left the trailer forward as the front was more level than the back so it worked ok. The biggest draw for this campground is the beach and the lake. It was a nice beach with plenty of sand and real nice clear water. It was very enjoyable the 2 days we used the beach. Will return for the beach along. The seasonal campers seemed friendly but some of the seasonal sites are very cluttered.

We returned here for a 9 night stay. We moved sites after the first weekend which was a planned move to get closer to the lake. We like it here but there are a couple things that could improve. First the good, the lake was great and very clean. The pontoon rentals are nice, the staff is great, the snack bar and pizza is excellent. The beach was nice and the other campers were very friendly. The issues, some of the utilities need to be fixed or improved. The 30 amp plugs are cracked, the cable connects do not all work, the sewer can back up. My son went in the bathroom and said it was a mess, I did not see it but he used the trailer the rest of his stay. The speed of cars was a concern, 5 mph is posed but many drive 20 and possible 30. We reported this as there are a lot of kids around. All in all we really enjoyed our week. We found the campground to be very quiet most nights and loved our time on the beach and swimming/floating in the lake. We will return.

We stayed here again with friends and this place just puzzles me. We made a last minute reservation because of a cancellation. The reservation is lacking as site are empty but they have them listed as full. The good about this stay is we could walk to the beach and into town, our site was good size, the pool was close by and the noise was not bad. There is a train that is close (a track and freight) but that does not bother me. Check in was fine. The site was dirty with cigarette butts and other trash, it would have been nice if that was picked up. We had a couple fires even with the hot weather, hook ups were fine and the wifi was great. I cannot put my finger on it but I just cannot warm up to this place. Anyway, good for the beach but for me, that is it.

This is an amazing campground with very nice and friendly owners. This place is clean and well cared for and the new pool is wonderful. The owner takes pride in the pool and the campground. Other campers were extremely friendly and a lot of fun. If you are into parties and don't like grass or being somewhat close to your neighbor then this is not for you. If you are into quiet, relaxing clean campgrounds then this is the place for you. We did not make it to the Sat night band but the afternoon free cookout was great and very nice to be offered to all, thank you for that. We have booked for next year already.

We like camping here. People are very nice and friendly. There was a small issue Friday night with some noise. Someone turned in our site as the noise makers but it was not us. The campground handled the situation very professional and all was good. This is a nice park to relax and walk around. As with many campgrounds, the sites come with pier pits and tables and there was no smoke issue when we were there. Price is fair for what you get compared to other area campgrounds. We will be back for sure.

This was our first visit here. We were nervous open the openness and lack of trees but as it turned out it was not an issue, we had just enough shade when we needed it. There are new owners here that bought just before the season started. They were super nice and very friendly. They took good care of us and our guests which we really appreciated. Our son lives down the street and he was able to visit and the visitor policy/fee is extremely fair. Our site was along the river and was a great size. Plenty of room for anything we wanted to do. Maybe it was out location but the wifi was tough. Sometimes it was fine, sometimes it was real slow and other times it was not available. It is nice that it is offered so we made it work for us. We enjoyed a local restaurant in the area, The Lions Den for a Fathers Day Brunch. All in all it was a great trip.

We just love it here, the feel of the Cape. We camp here at least once a year and will continue to review it because it is great. It is hilly but nice to walk around. People are friendly as is the staff. We laugh as the workers rush to clean the sites as trailers pull out. Some sites get cleaned 2 or 3 times as the guys just run around making sure the place is in great shape. The pools were open but a little too cool for us to go swimming. Stopped in the ice cream shop a couple times, really enjoyed that. As always great fire pits and good wood made for a couple of great fires. We just love it here and will continue to camp here for as long as we can.

This is a real nice park. It was extremely quiet the weekend we were there which is just what the doctor ordered. Peaceful and restfull was great. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Easy to walk around with plenty to do in the off season. Not far to the coast and Wells or York Beach. This was our second time here and my wife was wondering why we do not go here more often so I guess we will be back. It was an easy ride coming from exit 3 of the Maine Turnpike.

This is a very clean and very friendly park. The office/store staff are very nice as are the owners. The hookups at each site are very up to date and work very good. The campground is maintained very nice and everything looked great. We try to get here every year as we love it and fine it very peaceful. The pool complex is very nice and many are able to enjoy it. I was a holiday weekend but the noise was not bad at all, maybe a camper or two but no issues. Seasonal camps are neat and although there are golf carts, most all drive very slow and responsible.
