Camp Three Forks , Three Forks, Montana

This is a good park with mature trees and landscaping which is a good thing. Was a KOA but independently owned now. Nothing fancy but clean an quiet. Easy access from interstate. Good utilities and wifi. Would stay again. We camped at Camp Three Forks in a Motorhome.

Absaroka Bay RV Park, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Cody is a busy place for tourists so they have to pack you in to get everyone in. This park is clean with good utilities and so so wifi. This park is tight maneuvering and getting in your space. Towed vehicles must be unhooked. All in all it worked well and was quiet. Everything you need is close by. We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Douglas KOA, Douglas, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Typical KOA with nice pool and play area and office. Road to park is paved but everything else is pretty much rock and dirt resulting in dust. Utilities are very good and wifi is not great but useable most of the time. Sites are long and wide so you can park your tow either behind or by the side of your rv. Quiet at night but no quiet hours as both of my neighbors were noisy when they left at 5am. Excellent employees who seem to enjoy what they are doing. Town is about 2 miles away and has everhthing you need. Would stay again. We camped at Douglas KOA in a Motorhome.

Jefferson County Fairgrounds, Golden, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

You can either park on pavement pretty well sandwiched in or park on gravel with much more room. We were on asphalt and neighbors really close by. Biggest problem is no sewer hookups anywhere-although they do have a dump. Bathrooms are good and cleaned frequently. Water pressure is excellent. Wifi looks expensive as you see transmitters everywhere but is fair to poor in actual use. Busy freeway adjacent to park. We camped at Jefferson County Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

Monument RV Resort, Fruita, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Good utilities, wifi not so good, cell phone ok, satellite reception good. Roads are paved and all parking is on gravel. Mostly clean except the long term doing their own thing as usual. Quiet at night and plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby as well as fuel. Easy in and out. No shade. Tow vehicles can be left hooked up as spaces are long. , We camped at Monument RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Nice place to stay. Clean with good utilities but wifi is iffy. If you park on the outer loop you will have a great view. Park is all gravel and dirt so pretty dusty. Trees provide some shade and satellite is available most areas of park. We camped at Ely KOA in a Motorhome.

Yreka RV Park, Yreka, California

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Good place for a stopover. Roads and sites are gravel. All sites appeared to be long enough to leave either your tow or fifth wheel on for the night. Sites are mostly level. Utilities are good with excellent water pressure. Fair sized dog area. Grass between sites and neighbors not too close by. Navigating easy in park. Nice check in area. Easy on/off I-5. Surprisingly quiet for being close to interstate. Satellite reception very good. Long terms sites are picked up and neat. Would stay again. We camped at Yreka RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bordertown Casino RV Resort, Reno, Nevada

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped for one night and stayed for four as we got snowed in with the roads we needed to use were closed. Lucky for us this was a great place to hold up. Not a real big park but clean and safe. Pads are concrete and all roads are paved. Although close to a highway it is very quiet. Lots of coyotes late at night that are fun to listen to. Utilities are very good with excellently water pressure. Good space between pads with lawn. Wifi very good at times and good the rest of the time. Some long terms but have to play by the same rules as overnighters. Casino next door with good restaurant, fuel on premises as well as propane. Reno is a quick 10 minute drive on 4 lane highway. We camped at Bordertown Casino RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Bakersfield RV Resort, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

Not sure about the resort status here but it is not a resort. Has a restaurant and small pool. Utilities ok but internet bad all times of day. Noisy place to stay with railroad tracks on one side right by a road crossing where the trains blow their whistle; that will get you out of bed early, busy roads on two sides with a lot of noise. Restaurant is very nice with excellent food all 3 meals of day and very decent happy hour. Long term residents take up the perimeter and one whole half of this place with short term delegated to a certain area. Facility for most part is clean and secure. Roads are paved and sites are a fine gravel/sand that tracks in easily and is awfulif wet. We'll go back to the Orange Grove next trip this way. We camped at Bakersfield RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Premier RV Resorts of Redding , Redding, California

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $61.00
Overall Rating:

We use this park frequently but this trip was different. We like to stay in the "new" section with long pull throughs and quiet. We were amiss this time as many long term residents were now here and along with that comes storing people's stuff just about anywhere and overall unkempt condition of the site. When they give you a page full of rules as you all know that only applies to overnighters and the long term do whatever they please. This has always rankled us as short stay guests pay premium nightly rates and the long term usually pay half that for monthly rent. Concerning our site; utilities ok but internet was bad at all times, gravel areas were weedy and trash was obvious on the roadways but the staff never stopped to pick any of it up, just rode by on their cart and ignored everything. Probably due to the recent rainfall the gravel roads were chuckholed bad and looked like they had been that way for awhile. Not sure if we'll come here anymore. We camped at Premier RV Resorts of Redding in a Motorhome.

Golden Village Palms RV Resort , Hemet, California

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

I had heard a lot about this place so decided to check it out. This might have been a nice place at one time but for the most part it is pretty ghetto. Apparently lots can be owned and at that point anything goes. Trashy lots, old rvs, roads and concrete in serious disrepair. One guy even had a pickup on blocks apparently overhauling it complete with oil and grease everywhere. Dogs runs are awful. The smell of urine takes your breath away. Most places set sprinklers in these areas to freshen the area but not here. Sites are a hodgepodge of gravel and concrete. Utilities ok but internet awful any time of day. Lots of little houses on lots, many with for sale signs so that might tell you a little bit about the place. The overall facility is huge but over a third of it is unused as it appears they try to cram everyone; long term and overnighters in one end. They do have lots of activities. We won't be back. We camped at Golden Village Palms RV Resort in a Motorhome.

North Spokane RV Campground, Spokane, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This place is new and everything worked ok, but $60 night is outrageous for this place. Plan on driving several miles through downtown Spokane to get here as there is no other alternative. Satellite reception good as well as cell service. Long terms are already taking up a lot of space and unless some attention is given to their non-compliance of the 3 pages of rules you had to sign off on each page, this place will go downhill quickly. Won't return to this park. We camped at North Spokane RV Campground in a Motorhome.
