Date of Stay:

There are a lot of permanent people. The overnight sights are long & narrow, semi level asphalt with the sewer connection to the back of the site. We had difficulty hooking up to it when towing our vehicle. The pool was locked & had had leaves on the bottom so we couldn't use it. The wifi was slow, ATT worked well and it was convenient to I-75.

Date of Stay:

The park is very clean and nice, mostly level sites. Cable worked well and our satellite, the pool was very clean. ATT was good, their wifi was slow. Some of the work campers in the office were rude and there were a lot of work campers that had to mow/weed wack early in the morning (8am). We wouldn't stay again since it was so expensive.

Date of Stay:

Sites are gravel, two to a pull thru, back to back, and narrow. Our patio looked at the back of the rig next to us and their sewer. Only the riverside sites had concrete patios, the others did not. The restrooms and pool are older but very clean and sparkling, same with the laundry room. The campground is only 5 miles south of the Interstate so you don't have to drive the rig thru heavy traffic in Pigeon Forge. We were able to use our satellite and our ATT worked well.

Date of Stay:

Nice open campsites with loops of approximately 6 or 7 campsites within a tight circle so can be a little tricky getting in and out. The sites were level and mostly treed but not all sites. Many had boards around the patio without any drainage so it was a small pool area when it rained, try to pick the site visually rather than online like we did. The restrooms are an all in one with no ventilation, therefore very humid and hot in July. The campground is on a nice lake with a boat ramp and swimming area. About 30 minutes from Nashville.

Date of Stay:

The sites are paved and most but not all are level and had a gravel patio. The campground is nice but in the middle of nowhere so be sure to take your provisions with you. There is a swimming area with rocks on the bottom that hurt the feet and a very nice lake for boating and a boat ramp. Too much shade for satellite, ATT worked well.

Sites 1-75 were renovated to include E, W, S. We had an opening and was able to use our satellite, ATT worked well. There are long asphalt sites with a gravel patio and paved roads. Very nice park for the price, the only drawback was the ants. Be sure to bring a lot of spray and spray everything touching the ground immediately, it took us several days to get rid of them after we sprayed inside and out.

Date of Stay:

Most sites looked level, ours was narrow and uneven. Nice boardwalk to the falls & swimming area, good trails. The roads were paved and gravel sites, a lot of trees so no satellite, ATT worked well. Not far off of I-10.

This is not a destination campground as there are no amenities (no cable or bathroom facilities) but it is convenient to northern Atlanta and northern Georgia. There are quite a few permanent residents, not a problem, some sites on the lake without sewer. Our site was part of the parking area, we were able to use our satellite since our site didn't have any trees, it was a level, gravel site. There is a whole page of 40 rules!

Very nice state park with WES, cable and wifi. We were close to the comfort station and was able to receive the wifi signal at our campsite. Our back in site was fairly level, some were not, and had a gravel pad. Shade trees at some sites. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This is a great place to stay. It is a state park with a lot of amenities. Our paved and level site is partially shaded, full hook ups, cable, a pool, the beach with tram service and wifi at the store. The site has privacy like a state park with lots of trees.

Date of Stay:

A little off the road, but worth it, very friendly host. The showers were clean and large. There are some concrete sites but ours was grass and fairly level, a lot of pull thru sites. There is no pool or cable but the wifi worked very well. We would stay here again if in the area.

This is a great stopover campground. Paved and level sites with full hook up and cable (though we didn't use it). The bathrooms looked clean and it is close to the interstate. Not much within walking distance, we didn't unhook the car, but several stores within 5 miles via auto. Several permanent or seasonal residents but they were in the back in sites and we had our choice of several pull thru sites. We would stay here again if in the area.

The campground was well maintained, in fact too much so, we had a grassy/level site. They began mowing next to our rig at 7:15 am, not too happy about that. The staff was helpful, but be sure to not have your tires off the gravel and there is a long list of don't do this. The wifi is pay per use only and the camping payment must be cash, check or debit card only, no credit cards. The pool had plenty of kids in it, even though we camped there during the week. There are about 75% of permanent or weekend residents, a lot head to work early and other rigs didn't have any vehicles at the site. The bathroom doors to each stall had a shower curtain rather than a solid door. If in the area again, we will find another campground.

Date of Stay:

Friendly staff. Concrete/level sites and a very clean park. Clean all in one bathroom/shower combo, nice for privacy. The pool was nice on a hot summer day and the wifi works OK, sometimes a little slow. The only negative is the entrance into the park has a dip that many, including us, have scraped. The exit is a little better, but not much.

Date of Stay:

Friendly & helpful owners. Clean showers/bathrooms and good wifi. Grass/level sites and some trees. Walmart within walking distance behind the campground so there is some noise from the tractor/trailers spending the night.
