Golden Eco-Adventure Ranch & Campground, Golden, British Columbia

Great views. Very peaceful park with exceptionally large private sites. No sewer, or site internet but other amenities more than make up for this. We camped at Golden Eco-Adventure Ranch & Campground in a Motorhome.

Lake Pleasant RV Park, Bothell, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Very impressed with this park. The sites are absolutely huge, and have cedar privacy hedges. It is an extremely pretty park and even has a hiking trail around the whole perimeter. To us this makes up for any negatives in previous reviews. Wi Fi was great although yes, you have to pay extra. We will make sure we come to this park again. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Andersen's RV Park, Long Beach, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice compact RV park basically, right on the beach. Only complaint: the spots were really too tightly compressed...ie your neighbor's sewer hook up is very close to your unit. They were very pet friendly though and accommodating. Be prepared for lots of wind as a consequence of the ocean location, particularly for your awning and items left at your site. We camped at Andersen's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Waldport / Newport KOA, Waldport, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Facilities were certainly clean and well maintained. Beach was accessible but not really large enough as a destination point. Wi-Fi only worked near the office and as a special warning to dog owners, there was a lot of spear grass and ticks. We were in a very congested area, sites were pretty tight. We read the reviews beforehand but were disappointed with our stay. Just expected more, I guess. We camped at Waldport / Newport KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Emerald Forest Cabins & RV, Trinidad, California

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Pretty good stop over park for a few days. Rustic appearance is intentional I believe. Road noise was there, but didn't bother us. Somewhat gloomy, however the weather itself was not the greatest and this RV park would be welcoming on a hot day. WiFi and cable TV worked very well. It's dog friendly too. Nice sites, but not if you want pavement. Super beach right in town. We camped at Emerald Forest Cabins & RV in a Travel Trailer.

Outback RV Park, Rochester, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is OK as a "one-night" campground. Did have pull-throughs, and good Wi-Fi at first. But the sites were extremely close together. You couldn't have a picnic table if you wanted one without being less than a foot from your neighbor's unit. Good office staff (owner), and pretty good dog off leash area. Because of this a reluctant 7, instead of a 6. We camped at Outback RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Armitage Park , Eugene, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Fantastic municipal campground. Good for you Eugene Or. Beautiful level sites, full service, very very private. Wi-Fi was really good ( we were in pull-through #4). Park-like setting. We were in a 28" travel trailer. Added bonus: 2 acre off leash park: very pet friendly. I do not believe there were showers, but we are still giving it a big "10". Highly recommended. We just know this might be the best campground on a 3 week trip. PS: great website for making reservations too! We camped at Armitage Park in a Travel Trailer.
