Artillery Ridge Campground, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is conveniently situated near the battleground. The staff was friendly. Horse stables and open dumpsters made for a lot of flies. The laundry had modern machines. The showers, while dated, were clean. We camped at Artillery Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

Olde Stone Village RV Park, McMinnville, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is a lovely RV park, with clean cement pads, well spaced, and it is beautifully landscaped. I wish there were more campgrounds like it!! The only complaint I have is that they charged to take a shower. How about just upping the reasonable price a bit so people don't have to scramble for quarters? We camped at Olde Stone Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone RV Park, Gardiner, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This little campground is right on the banks of the Yellowstone River. We had a back in site and could put our chairs in the grass on the banks of the rushing river. There are no amenities, but we didn't need them, as we were interested in touring Yellowstone National Park which is about 20 minutes away. The owners were very friendly as were the other RV'ers, many of whom were there for the summer, working at Yellowstone. This is a convenient spot if you don't want to stay in the park. We would return. We camped at Yellowstone RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mount Rushmore KOA, Hill City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a family friendly campground "resort" which had all kinds of activities for children from a water slide to trail riding. It was filled, and there were many young families obviously having a great time. We could not get cell phone reception, but that was fine for a change. We would stay here again. We camped at Mount Rushmore KOA in a Motorhome.
