Tall Pines Harbor Campground, Temperanceville, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 3 nights in the bay front 5 campsite. The site was a large and level site that you pull into. The campground has a wonderful camp store and amenities. There is a fishing pier and crabbing was a fun activity. There was a nice beach area for swimming. The site was not full hook up but the campground offers a pump out service right at your campsite. We had a wonderful stay and would return here again. We camped at Tall Pines Harbor Campground in a Motorhome.

Williamsburg KOA, Williamsburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 3 nights in the Colonial Section of the Williamsburg KOA. It was a nice KOA with great activities for the children. The campground is central to all the Williamsburg area activities. The site we had (E93) was great. It was at the end of the park and had a wonderful grass area for the picnic table and fire ring. We would stay here again. We camped at Williamsburg KOA in a Motorhome.

Douthat State Park, Clifton Forge, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 3 nights at Douthat State Park in a 38' motorhome. We stayed in both the Beaverdam Campground (1 night) and the White Oaks Campground (2 nights). The White Oaks Campground was beautiful and our site back onto the woods and creek. My husband is a novice RV driver and he managed the 38' unit in the park with no problem. The Beaverdams Campground had wonderful Camp Hosts and nice level sites. The trails that we hiked were great. We would love to go back soon. We camped at Douthat State Park in a Motorhome.
