Pine Acres Family Camping Resort, Oakham, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

If you're going to call yourself a resort then guide us to our campsite and don't nickel and dime us after we paid $7.50 extra per night per child to stay. Sites were packed in pretty tight and the swimming hours were limited. While we enjoyed ourselves at the lake, this was definitely a one and done. We camped at Pine Acres Family Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Countryside RV Park, Griswold, Connecticut

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

On a whim we tried this park over Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed it so much we went back for the Fourth of July. Both times the owners and other campers were extremely friendly. The kids all played together at the pond and on the wiffle ball field. Very quiet, clean and "old school" fun. We will definitely be back. We camped at Countryside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Ledgeview RV Park, Lake George, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. Extremely clean, spacious, shaded, quiet and close to all that the Lake George area has to offer. Kids can bike safely on the paved roads and they enjoy the pool (cold) and playground. Wi-Fi available by the office/pool. We camped at Ledgeview RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Aces High RV Park, East Lyme, Connecticut

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Clean, wide open, easy access. Not a great place for kids. The pond was stagnant. However, for a $40 refundable deposit you can get a pass to the Niantic town ocean beach which is a nice park (get your Flanders doughnuts on the way). Park is in a good location to get to many places, so it makes for a good home base. We camped at Aces High RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
