First time visit to this KOA to take part in their Thangiving celebration. Our site was nice and spacious. Sites was grass and fairly level. Cable tv is limited but they had a big tv by community fire pit to watch football games. Overall a nice KOA. Now what they do for the holiday is amazing. A big turkey dinner for the guest. They provide the turkeys and guests provide the side dishes. Lots of activities for kids including Santa arriving the next day. A lot of people make this weekend a traditon. A unique, enjoyable trip.

We stayed here because we we're attending the Ren Faire which is held on the property. It is a pretty good park with numerous amenities. Almost totally paved except for one grass section. Our site was a back-in which was a little short but ok. No fire pits but you can bring your own. Nice grounds and pool. Merry go round, train, sweet shop, wine shop and restaurant also part of property.

Was our first stay at Lawsons Landing which is a dry campround on the coast. We stayed in the meadow section and came prepared with our generator. If you need a full service park with hookups, lawsons is not for you. However, if you like boondocking, don't mind a jamboree feel and want great access to the shore and dunes, give it a try.

Clean resort on The American River. We camped here just after the end of rafting season so it was almost empty and quiet. Might be different during rafting season as two rafting companies have their base inside the park. Site was fairly level once we backed in. That was a chore. since the site was terraced on a steep road that we had to back up on. Very nice view of river. Store had almost no supplies. Good location near gold discovery park.

In my opinion the grand daddy of "civilized" RV parks. Pricey but you get a lot. Paved level sites. Two heated pools. Clubhouse, stocked store, cafe, fishing pond. Very family friendly with lots of events especially their Halloween weekends. This time we came to use it as a base for motorcycle riding through the gold country. Very nice visit with site on the fishing pound. Will continue coming here.

Nice rustic park surrounded by mature redwoods. Our site was dirt but level and backed right up to redwoods. Lots of room for our toy hauler and motorcycles. Store was small but stocked well. Pool was nice. A little noise from highway but not bad. There is a STEEP path down to Eel river but there are benches along the way to take a break. Nice little park.

We have stayed at several KOAs (some very nice and some awful) and I'd rate this one pretty good. It's located on the Delta at Tower Park Marina where there are boat rentals, a restaurant and some decent shore fishing. We had one of the premium pull through sites which are a bit pricey but comes with a concrete pad, patio furniture and swing. The only problem is the way the pads are laid out, you have little privacy from the rig opposite you. We would probably choose a tradition site next time. The park has lots of shade, decent pool, and nice doggie park. The lay out of the park is really stretched out so plan on taking a hike to get to pool if you're in the front area of park or going to the store if you're you're in the back. We saw no game room like other KOA's have. As for supplies, the store has the very basics. If we we're going to boat on the Delta again, we would consider another visit here.

Camped here since we were going boating on New Melones Lake and the campground is right opposite the entrance road to the lake. Nice, simple, rustic little campground. We had a full hookup pull through site which was pretty level. Site was tiered which we always like. Park has older, but nice little pool. Store had very little in the way of supplies but we usually bring all we need. Owners were very friendly. One note- there are a lot of flies in the area so be prepared with fly strips or some other counter-measures. We'd come here again.
