Eagle Nest Lake State Park, Eagle Nest, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Quiet open space campground, not far from town. Nice lake views. Park is newer and well maintained. Great location for dry camping and getting away from it all, Fishing and riding the narrow gauge railway. The whole general area is in a low signal cell/air card location. We camped at Eagle Nest Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Nice sites, many water view and shaded with trees. About 5 minutes from town. Quiet and well ran. Staff was helpful with an escort to site after hours. Campground Wi-Fi was very weak, usable sometimes depending location I guess. Cell reception (Verizon) and air card worked but had low bars. We camped at Pagosa Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice park. Lots of kid activities available. Was quiet and well managed. Site provided Wi-Fi was very good. Cell and data service was poor. If you need cell service ask for a site on the East side of the park. We camped at Smokiam RV Resort (formerly Soap Lake RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Saltwater State Park, Des Moines, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $22.00

It is a nice park considering you are in the middle of a major city. It can be noisy due to park is in the flight pattern of SeaTac airport. Cell and data service is good. We camped at Saltwater State Park in a Motorhome.
