Campground St. Regis, St. Regis, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful, well kept grounds. Very friendly owners and staff. Ultra clean restrooms, showers, laundry, etc. We stayed 4 nights. Extra note is that whenever a tree needed to be cut down, an expert carver has created the cutest animals, birds and fish into the remaining stump. We camped at Campground St. Regis in a Travel Trailer.

Indian Rock Campground, York, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Quiet, nice, well kept campground. Friendly owner. Along rail-trail. We were introduced to this park when our Airstream chapter hosted a rally here and have been back several times since with friends; it has become a favorite get away for us. We can ride our bikes from our campsite right onto the rail-trail. 4 miles north we ride into the city of York for restaurants and farmers market. 7 miles south we ride to the Serenity Cafe, a perfect lunch spot right along the trail. The trail continues south into Maryland, an easy ride mostly along the creek, ride through RR tunnels, etc. We camped at Indian Rock Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Grayton Beach State Park, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful SP campground with clean restrooms and friendly staff. There is a wonderful paved bike trail right from the park where we were able to easily ride 10 miles in either direction. Could walk our kayaks from our site to put-in, found kayaking interesting but somewhat limiting for us. Restaurants, groceries, laundry, etc. all close by. We camped at Grayton Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Key Largo Kampgrounds and Marina, Key Largo, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

2010 marks our 7th consecutive year in this campground. We started with a tent site; four years ago upgraded to an RV site. Very clean, quiet, friendly, gated campground. Nice pool. We can wheel our kayak from our site to the water, then paddle in the mangrove trails or to John Pennekamp SP, etc. We ride our bikes everywhere: the fish market, the grocery, library, restaurants, etc. We stay 4 weeks each year. We camped at Key Largo Kampgrounds and Marina in a Travel Trailer.
