Distant Drums RV Resort, Camp Verde, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Distant Drums RV Resort was great. My family and I arrived Friday afternoon, the site they gave us was fantastic. Even though we have an "older" travel trailer, we were able to set up with no problems. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Loved the private showers. Only down side is they close at 8:00 pm and don't open up again until 8:00 am, so if you get back to the resort late, you have to wait until the next day to shower. Also no restrooms available during those hours. It was not a problem though. Just adjusted our schedule. I would definitely recommend this park if you are going to be anywhere near the Grand Canyon. We camped at Distant Drums RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Lordsburg KOA, Lordsburg, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $35.00

Late checkin. We just needed a place to stop for the night. Bathrooms were clean. The only problem was since we arrived so late we did not have the code to get in, so we had to wait until the next morning to use them. Sites are easy to use and hook up. Would recommend for a short stay. We camped at Lordsburg KOA in a Travel Trailer.
