Sage Hills Golf & RV Resort, Warden, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff is very friendly. Sites were level and had grass at each site. The golf course was very nice and we enjoyed the $10.00 golf on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Laundry was $1.00 wash and $1.00 to dry. However there were only 2 washers and dryers and I had to keep checking for a free washer. Laundry room was very clean as were the restrooms and showers. Lots of work campers that help out around the park and golf course. We'll be back. We camped at Sage Hills Golf & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Bridge RV Park & Campground, White Salmon, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Small well kept park. Our GPS directed us the wrong direction after we went over the toll bridge, told us to turn left (park was right). No foot or bike access to Hood River so if you don't have a tow car you're more or less stranded. Now about the trains, they are located about 100 ft under your campsite and run all night long, they don't honk but it felt like a train was coming into our bedroom all night. This is common at all sights along the Columbia River. In our opinion we'll keep going East to the State Park which is more reasonably priced. We camped at Bridge RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Riverbend RV Park, Mount Vernon, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived here with one very sick dog, we weren't sure if we should head north over the border to Canada and the vet, we called, explained our story that our dog wasn't feeling well. The lady who answered and met us was the greatest. They didn't have a full hook up site but had somewhere we could stay and hook up to electric and best of all it was on grass which our "boy" wanted. They were so nice and helpful. There was a great walk along the river to walk him (he started to feel better after he layed on the grass). There are some residents, that didn't bother us in our situation. The kids just wanted to pat the "white fluffy dog" and he wanted to be pat. I would stay here in a heart beat, especially if you have a dog. They were so accommodating and we felt so thankful, especially once he started to eat again (I'll spare you the ugly details.). We camped at Riverbend RV Park in a Motorhome.

Othello Tunnels Campground and RV Park, Hope, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed here before, never rated. This place, as previous reviewers have stated, could use some TLC however, it's close to the tunnels which are great. There's a fishing pond for kids, which our grandchild loved and it's dog friendly which I really like. Great overnight spot and we'd stay there again. We camped at Othello Tunnels Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Valley of the Rogue State Park, Gold Hill, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We spent two night here. Very nice and well kept. Spacious sites. The only problem we had, and it was taken care of very well by the Rangers, were other dogs. Our 12 year old Eskimo was attacked by a little dog (on a long leash tied to a lawn chair). Luckily for me our dog was fine however, had he not been as hairy as he is the other dog may have broken through to the skin. Very scary. The Camp Hosts and the Rangers dealt with the culprits very professionally and came by several times to ensure our dog was okay. There were other dogs off leash as well. We camped at Valley of the Rogue State Park in a Motorhome.

Parkcanada RV Park and Tenting, Delta, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2006 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Very close to the ferries to Vancouver Island which is all I can say good about this place. Dirty sites, close together. The sewer for the site was so close to our picnic table I wouldn't eat outside! Lots of long termers and run down units. There is a waterslide for kids (extra). If you need a place to stay when travelling to/ from Vancouver Island this is more or less your only option in the area. We camped at Parkcanada RV Park and Tenting in a Motorhome.
