Bow Valley Provincial Park - Bow Valley Campground, Canmore, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for two nights and took advantage of the trails and access to the lake and river. We have a small rig and had no problems with roads or parking but could be tight for some larger rigs to maneuver. We camped at Bow Valley Provincial Park - Bow Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Silos Campground - Canyon Ferry, Townsend, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Park is great for an overnight but might be too dusty for longer. There seemed to be a fair number of people who were there for an extended period. The lake is close by and for boaters the launch was an easy drive down the hill. Staff were friendly and helpful. A small restaurant serves good fast food. We camped at Silos Campground - Canyon Ferry in a Motorhome.

Sprague Lake Resort, Sprague, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Lovely setting, right on the lake but we were the only unit on that side of the park. Not sure how it would be with more RVs. We stayed here as it was a good distance from our last stop and had OK reviews. It's a bit off the freeway which is a plus. There was some train noise, but not excessive. Felt a bit overpriced and there was a charge for using our credit card which was annoying - wasn't stated anywhere and an in-state check wasn't accepted., so cash only for the price above. Owner was very nice and helped us to our site. We camped at Sprague Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

Stan Hedwall Park, Chehalis, Washington

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a bare bones city park: think state park. It's a lovely setting and access to I-5 is easy. If you like trains, it's great. If not, find another park. Most rigs were older and appeared to be "full time" residents, although the limit is 7 days. Lots of walking opportunities. We will stay here again. We camped at Stan Hedwall Park in a Motorhome.

This is a convenient (to I-5) well maintained park. Wi-fi was good and facilities kept up. Rate is for water & electric site. We camped at Medford / Gold Hill KOA in a Motorhome.

San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA, Petaluma, California

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very large park with lots of cabins and facilities - sites are close together. Looks to be great for folks with kids: activities abound, e.g. K9 Kamp and petting zoo. Sites are up and down hills and might be an issue for larger rigs. In general, a nice park considering the location. We camped at San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA in a Motorhome.

Thousand Trails / Morgan Hill Preserve, Morgan Hill, California

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

We have been disappointed with TT in general and would not have stayed here except we thought we would get a great rate as are TT members in another region (not for long, I might add). Our rate included some sort of "discount".

This facility is not well maintained: our power post circuit was intermittent and created problems with our rig's electric systems. We moved the connection to another post and it was OK.

Lots of full timers, it appears, and full of shabby rigs in the area where we stayed. As someone else mentioned, this could be a gem. We won't stay here again. We camped at Thousand Trails / Morgan Hill Preserve in a Motorhome.

Ponderosa Campground, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We planned to stay for two nights but ended up staying 3. This park is one of my favorites as it's close to Cody amenities and a good value, even at the regular rate. It's not a quiet park, being close to the highway, but the noise isn't that intrusive. We camped at Ponderosa Campground in a Motorhome.

Pine Hill RV Park, Kutztown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here overnight. If they had a dog area the rating would be a 10. Only area of concern might be freeway noise for some: the park overlooks the freeway and the noise from trucks is noticeable. We camped at Pine Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cape Hatteras KOA, Rodanthe, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $73.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here as we were unaware of any other parks on the beach - mistake. This is a nice park, but overpriced. We were unable to use the pool due to cold weather but would have used the hot tub if it wasn't full of small children or folks drinking mixed drinks with glass bottles each time we planned to use it. IF this park had more adult facilities and good wifi we might stay here again, otherwise I doubt it. There is a rather raggedy dog park. We camped at Cape Hatteras KOA in a Motorhome.

Mercer / Grove City KOA, Mercer, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Park is nice with large level pull through sites, trees and easily accessed hookups. Lots of puddles and soggy ground but not in our or nearby sites. Our site was very quiet - this may have been due to the early season and few other campers. We would stay here again. We camped at Mercer / Grove City KOA in a Motorhome.

Premier RV Resort of Lincoln City Oregon, Lincoln City, Oregon

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This park is well maintained and the sites are as nice as one can expect from a parking lot. It is billed as near the beach, but it appears the beach is about 1/2 mile distant across the highway and could be tricky walking for those with mobility issues. We were here in the off season so were able to pick a site away from others with a little view. Management was very welcoming and accommodating. The clubhouse looks very nice. The wifi was irritatingly fast and then slow. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Lincoln City Oregon in a Motorhome.

Thousand Trails - Bend/Sunriver, Bend, Oregon

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Enjoyed our stay. Lots of trees and space between sites. Felt a lot like a state park. Would have given a higher rating if there was WiFi at the sites. During the season which begins in May, I believe, there appear to be lots of activities. It was very quiet when we were there. We camped at Thousand Trails - Bend/Sunriver in a Motorhome.

Port Ludlow RV Park, Port Ludlow, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for a few months and the place is the BEST in the area. Feels like you're in a state park but is close to gas and convenience store as well as golf and fine dining. Large sites with lots of privacy. No TV not an issue for us so we gave it a 10. Would stay here again, for sure. We camped at Port Ludlow RV Park in a Motorhome.
