We didn't enjoy our time at this resort because they really do nickel and dime you for every extra. The only free items were the pool and the lake. I felt very bad for the cooped up animals as well, in this day and age I see no reason to have ducks, rabbits and other animals in tiny pens all day, just sitting there unable to fly or walk much. It was sad and unnecessary. I saw no camper even looking at them. Perhaps not the resort's fault but I have never seen so many mosquitos. The kids are covered in bites despite constant applications of insect repellent. Perhaps there is an environmentally friendly way to treat the grounds for mosquitos?

We have two kids, 6 and 3, and we loved this park. The other campers were nice and laid-back, the showers were some of the cleanest campground showers we have seen and the food at the snack bar was actually really GOOD (pizza and burgers for lunch were LOVED by the kids). The kids had a ball at the Saturday night party. There were activities all day long that kept them occupied and proud of their "art" accomplishments. We had a great time. Nice, large pool. Sure, it's older in terms of facilities but the fun they set up all around the park overshadowed that by far.
