Twin Oaks RV Park & Campground, Elko, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here a few times in the past year, but during this stay we were responsible for running a small rally for our chapter. It was July and of course it was hot, but we all enjoyed ourselves very much. The manager went out of her way to accommodate our group. We had a private air conditioned hall for our group during the rally, there was a pool, and a couple of other rooms to relax in with smaller groups. Our big coaches could move easy enough in and out of the campground. The showers and rest rooms were clean. These people worked hard to keep things looking good and in working order. There is much to do in the area and would go back if the opportunity presented itself. We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

New York City North / Newburgh KOA, Plattekill, New York

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

This is our third stay here and it is the only one in the area that can accommodate our 43' coach. There is an area to the right and behind the office that has sites in the open for satellite reception as we have a roof dish. It is gravel and dirt, good hook up facilities. We reserved a particular site which was not available when we came in, but was able to get something that would work. This is probably the best KOA campground we have ever been in and is great for families and visiting NYC. Staff was very pleasant. We camped at New York City North / Newburgh KOA in a Motorhome.
