Pirateland Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful well kept RV park in Myrtle Beach. There is a lot to do for families. We were in the inland area where there is a lot of shade and close to the pool. They have a large laundry area and a good book exchange. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. You can rent a golf cart for only $38 for a 24 hour period, which is a good deal. The kids will love the pool area!!! We camped at Pirateland Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Aire RV Park & Campground, Hollywood, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a week to visit the Charleston area. We had a large grassy pull thru site with no shade. It was in the 90's while we were there and hot for this time of year. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. The bathrooms, laundry, and pool area were clean. There are a few trees scattered around the park, the shady sites are in the seasonal area. We would stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at Lake Aire RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Misty Mountain Camp Resort, Crozet, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We had reservations for the month of June, but only stayed for 3 weeks. We were given credit for the remaining days. We hope to be able to return sometime in the fall. We did enjoy our stay while we were there. The pool and the pool area were always clean. The restrooms and the laundry room were also very clean. Every day they had someone cleaning. We did stay up top in the trees and they do need to level the sites. They were also installing new picnic tables while we were there. It looks like the owner is trying to improve the RV park. We did enjoy our stay and there is a lot to do in the surrounding area. They were also kind enough to forward our mail to us after we left. It is a very nice park and we would recommend staying there to everyone. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there is a lot of activities for the kids. We camped at Misty Mountain Camp Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
